Gravel driveway is steep and not plowed in the winter. Access not great for those with mobility issues as there is no stairwell with a railing to access the cabin. Keep all your gear warm and dry and use the kitchen to prepare meals. Silver Fir is a great base camp with day and night skiing, and Summit West, East and Central are accessible by the chairlift.
