This apartment was perfect for our family of four. Even though we were not able to go whale watching we saw many light houses , gorges, beaches, and lava fields. This host was so kind and the accommodations were perfect!

Kristin’s apartment was one of our favorite places while touring Iceland. Very peaceful, serene, and quiet. We really enjoyed the view to the harbor. The apartment was clean, neat, and clutter free. Kristin was responsive and courteous. Would love to stay there again!

Logement confortable et sympa, avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan. Nous avons séjourné une nuit ici lors de notre entrée dans la péninsule et avons adoré cette parenthèse au bord de l’eau. Nous avons pu y cuisiner tout en écoutant des cds sur la chaine hifi à disposition puis nous avons profité des derniers rayons de soleil et du coucher de soleil sur la terrasse. Enfin, nous nous sommes endormies, bercées par le bruit des vagues. Aussi, merci pour le panier de bienvenue !

Ragnheiour is a lovely and gracious host. I felt very comfortable and I hope to come back to Olafsvik again to explore more of this beautiful area.

very easy to check in and perfect for our one night stay to explore the area. Very near to the mountain and very good view of it from the living room and bedroom. Amenities were complete and driveway was ploughed before our arrival so it was easy to park and unload our suitcase.

WE absolutely LOVED this place. It's very well equipped and very cozy. You should know, that there lives a family with little kids above and it might get louder sometimes, but it didn't bother us, as we spent the whole day outside anyways. Other than that, the absolutely perfect place to stay!

Das war ein richtig gutes Zuhause für unsere Zeit am Kirkjufell! Die Wohnung ist ganz neu und tatsächlich noch schöner, als sie auf dem Bildern aussieht. Die Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer und dem Schlafzimmer ist traumhaft! Tatsächlich ist das ein Ein-Raum-Apartment, hell, geräumig, sehr freundlich, gemütliches Bett, sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat nichts gefehlt und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 

This was my second time staying, and I will continue to return whenever I go to Iceland. This place is great . . . super clean, awesome bathroom (including washer and dryer, which really come in handy for refreshing our clothing supply on trips), comfortable beds, and a nice, small kitchen area. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Península, and Ólafsvík is a great stop in and of itself, with a beautiful waterfall overlooking the town, which you can hike to the top of . . . a highlight of our trip. Small, grocery store nearby, as well as a restaurant and small diner at the gas station down the street. Thanks to Kristin for providing this little gem of a place to stay!

We had two wonderful days at the studio and enjoyed the sound of the waves while sleeping. The village was very quiet (late April) and we went around the Peninsula for different activities like swimming, exploring a cave and hiking.

Very convenient location for exploring the Snæfellsness Peninsula. Since you can park right outside the front door, moving in is easy. The host responded quickly to any concerns. The only drawback is that the shower wall doesn’t extend far enough, resulting in a wet bathroom floor.

Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben. Schön und modern eingerichtet mit einer tollen Aufteilung. Der Blick aus dem Küchenfenster in die Berge ist wirklich großartig. Direkt vor der Tür ist der Parkplatz und man kann von dort aus gut touristische Ziele erreichen.

We had a lovely stay at Inga's place. The apartment is in a great location with fantastic views of the ocean. Host showed us the apartment and personally checked us in. Host has a lovely personality. We felt totally at home and had a nice relaxing sleep. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and rooms were clean. We would totally recommend this location as well as would love to stay here again!

Inga’s and Oli’s place is perfect. It is super clean and with wonderful decorations. We felt very comfortable and like home. The shower room is especially great (clean, dedicated layout, and warm). The house and kitchen are clean and very well equipped with stuff make us felt very much like home. We are very happy with our stay, and we felt very comfortable.

We stayed for one night and it was a perfect location for us, we were able to cook our own meals in the kitchen and had the room as our quite place. There was no problem using the kitchen wirh all the other guests

Room was clean and tidy, and was quiet enough to have a good rest. Seems like there are always events going on so great opportunities to meet other travellers! Would recommend!
