Lucille's Retro Retreat

Make some memories at this spacious unique and family-friendly place. This 60's retreat lies within a block of the Colorado River, a walk from downtown and Fisherman's Park and a short drive to Bastrop State Park. The deer, fox, and armadillo make this neighborhood their home. Hear early morning bird calls, late light coyote howls, rooster crows, and donkey brays. Downtown music can be heard as well as morning marching band practice. Step back into simpler times and small town comfort.

Secluded cabin on 200 acres of private pine forest. Enjoy hiking & views from large deck. Cabin's decor based on local legend & Broadway hit, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, replete with the madam's bed. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, & dishwasher. BBQ on the outdoor propane grill and enjoy a campfire under the stars (bring your own firewood). 2 miles off highway. Pets OK with a $25 per pet fee. Up to three. We built the barndo in 2022, and furnished it for Airbnb. We have a Roku TV in the living room as well in the master room configured with a Amazon and Netflix set up application, which gives you access to the network, This also allows you to log into your own streaming services such as , Hulu, HBO, Cinemax and so on.
