The Cottage on the Bay was unbelievable! Upon arrival we commented the only thing that would make the cottage better was to face west vs east..until sunrise the next morning. WOW! Every morning was spectacular! Being 10 min away from Seward was great (the dirt road was not in the best shape but we're from MI so we are used to roads w/ potholes). We cooked most breakfasts/dinners (the kitchen was great for meal prep) it was nice to have lunch in town. The Safeway in Seward was stocked well and we found everything needed even gluten free items. The cottage was a perfect home base for a jam-packed week of activities starting w/ a 6 hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park (we saw a humpback in Sept amazing). The Two Lakes Trail in Seward was our warm up for the Exit Glacier hike. The Alaska SeaLife Center was great for our 1 rainy day! We also rafted the Resurrection River, all in Seward. Jet skiing in Whittier was crazy fun too! The cottage and Alaska did not disappoint!

We enjoyed this place so much! Amy it's such a sweet hearth and so helpful. She brought us some pie and pastry for breakfast the first day. She also help us arrange some kayaks with her neighbors, we took around 2 hrs kayaking the lake, which was empty and beautiful. The neighbord told us he saw moose on his property early in the morning, sadly we did not see any. The RV has everything we needed and more, cooking essentials, extra beddings, heating, hot shower, stove, etc. The dinner table was nicely arrange by the time we arrived. nWe had a lovely time here, we were able to rest and also do some outdoor activities, most of the land around is private property but is perfect to walk around.

We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin in the woods. The space was well-equipped and extremely comfortable. Rodney was a wonderfully helpful and communicative host, we would recommend this place 100%!

Such a cute little place, but has everything you need - more than just a cabin, more like an apartment! Loved the multiple firepits, and the swing by the pond. Probably sweet in the summer, I'll definitely be back but this place is such a gem in the summer I bet it's always sold out! Run, don't hesitate, to book this place!

The home was pristine, beautiful and cozy! Loved the hot tub. Close to everything we did in the peninsula. Flew into Anchorage and the drive was unreal! So majestic. Definitely would recommended this home to everyone wanting a peaceful stay in Alaska!

This home was perfect for three couples and added plus we could Bring our dogs! Spacious, clean and great views from those amazing living room windows!. The deck was enormous and if we had another night would have loved using the fire pit. This kitchen had everything we needed and more. Easily the most generous kitchen and cooking supplies I've ever seen in a rental. We would definitely Make this first choice when returning to Soldotna. A

Fantastic location. Private but close to Kenai and Nikiski. The view is out of this world! Wifi worked well. House was clean, host is communicative. My one note is the mattresses could use an upgrade, but the kids enjoyed their stay. Recommend this place for any travelers longing for that water and mountain view.
