The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

The Bit & Bridle Cabin has that out-in-the-country feel, yet it is only minutes from Oak Harbor's town center. This small 17 acres farm provides Donna's horses room to play and live and Stan's Autobody & Paint Shop a place to thrive. Other buildings besides the Cabin and the owners' house are a covered riding arena, Stan Wingate's shop, a "Fowl Manor" and run, and a small family residence. Ten beautiful old apple trees are scattered around. The Cabin is next to one of the apple orchards.

La Conner's Kahlo Cottage is an inviting eclectic space surrounded by evergreens and only steps to the beach. This part of the neighborhood is rural-ish, with a friendly vibe. The quaint waterfront town of La Conner is a short 8 minute drive where you will find art, culture, restaurants and great shops to explore. Whether you're on a solo adventure, enjoying time as a couple, or exploring the area with a friend or family member, Kahlo Cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy!

Situated in the midst of a 6 acre forest, enjoy a calming experience with views of Penn Cove and the iconic town of Coupeville. Listen to the songbirds and great horned owls. Absorb nature by walking the trails without leaving the property. Share the yoga studio on the second floor. Visit a public beach 1/4 mile away, kayak or paddleboard on Penn Cove.

Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

My place is located on a small scale produce farm on the north end of Camano Island. Private suite in farmhouse with private entrance, private bathroom, deck and small kitchenette. Relax on the deck or explore the multiple parks on the island that offer walks in the forest or along the beach. About one mile away you will find delicious pastries, coffee, pub and shops selling locally made goods. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We are in the heart of Skagit Valley. Our quaint downtown is a quick 10 minute walk. Less than 20 minutes away by auto you can visit Edison, La Conner, and the Salish sea. Many shops, trails, events and foodie fare are in our Guest Guide please have a look as we were thinking of you when we complied all our favorites places. We are happy to share our patio and garden with our guests.

Back Roads Airbnb

We love our quiet country home that we decided to share the back separate part of our home for mature Airbnb guest. We also decided to make the minimum stay for 7 days. Ideal for somebody who likes to work remotely, vacation or your in the Navy looking for something temporarily. We have 1.7 Landscape acres where the Island deer and Eagles roam free. We also have a fire pit to cook smores. Make sure you look at all photos. Please read House Rules.

If you were any closer to the water, you would be on a boat. This is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sit in the sun porch and enjoy the stunning expansive view of Utsalady Bay, where you will likely see seals or otters swimming just off-shore, bald eagles soaring overhead, or large blue herons fishing. It is a wonderful place to sit back, take it all in and relax with your friends or family.
