Amazing location. Inger was very helpful with setting up the hot tub and showing us around. It would have been nice to have more towels - when we requested more we did not hear back.

Our stay at Jon & Linda’s cabin was very enjoyable. It was clean, organized, and the breakfast option was convenient. I would highly recommend staying there if you are driving around Iceland.

We absolutely loved this location, such a great way to start our Iceland vacation. We were super lucky to see the Northern lights, even with it being so late in April. The sauna was especially nice to have as an amenity. Definitely recommend if you want to explore south Iceland.

This was a great stay. Everything was clean. They had waffles ready for when we arrived which was really thoughtful. And even left toppings to choose from. Thanks for everything !

This home is a quant cottage just outside of VIK. We had great views of the water & beach. We were able to see numerous puffins in the area. It was a quick, short journey to the town that had a supermarket & 2 restaurants that we enjoyed.

If we could give Martina & Jon more stars, we would! They were extremely welcoming and amazing hosts. Not to mention, their beautiful property is full of all sorts of animals and hiking trails. It’s only about a 5 minute drive to the city and it’s also near a lot of other sweet sites to see. Best of all, they make the most beautiful and delicious breakfast for you every morning. We could not recommend staying here enough if you’re ever in Vík, Iceland!! Thank you so much again Martina and Jon for welcoming us into your beautiful home and being such kind hosts!!

We absolutely adore this place and have just been back for a second stay. The location is magic. The cabin is super charming, clean, cosy, welcoming and full of character. It is lovely to see that past guests have left behind little things to add to the decor and make it feel very special. The privacy and middle of nowhere feeling you get there are amazing. There are only two points we feel worth mentioning as little downsides to this cabin: The shower is tiny - it is more like something you'd find in a small caravan. The two single beds are very narrow and for some adults maybe not a very comfortable choice. All in all we'd never let those facts keep us from coming back. We LOVE this place.

We loved this little cottage so much. It was a little oasis up in the mountains, away from everything, yet only 10 minutes off the main ring road. It was easy to find and had everything we needed for our three person family. We would recommend it to anyone!

Great place to stay if you travel to iceland around the south coast as it is cheap compared to other hotels. Also, great view to spot the aurora too since the area has low lights during the night. For the stay, it is really good but for me personally i thought we will gonna get the small kitchen instead of toilet in our chalet, but that’s not a big problem at all since it provides a shared kitchen. Personally, the only thing i found it difficult for me is the paid shower and you need coins to operate it.

Gorgeous location. Very very helpful, they even plowed some of the snow for us when we got caught in a snow storm and calmed us so much. Great assistance and quickly provided. Having an actual dryer was so great, plus lots of radiators about the house to dry also. Washer and dryer is outside (can be important during winter time). Lots of amenities in kitchen, but no dishwasher. Trash sorters not inside, may be hard to sort the compostable from not-compostable without a bag. Small inconveniences, would stay again for sure.

The perfect cabin in stunning surroundings! One of our favourite airbnbs in Iceland. Lovely views, well equipped and a good size for our family of 5. I even saw my first ever northern lights!
