The triple glazed cottage provides comfortable accommodation and is just over an hour away from SE London by car, or by train straight into the village from London Victoria, (1 hr 6m) Faversham & Sittingbourne are 10 minutes away. We've released dates through to end of June 2026 with cosy 3/5/7 night Autumn/Winter/Spring breaks & offers available.

Or if you just want to relax, bring a book or two and relax in front of the woodburner fire. There are bridleways and public footpaths on the doorstep, which are beautiful anytime of the year, being in the heart of the Garden of England. There are many National Trust/ English Heritage attractions in close proximity.

Twitchers Cottage at Broomfield Barn is a beautifully presented converted in 2020, one bedroom cottage. Located on the edge of Oare marshes that is an important wetland reserve with a range of bird species. This area is popular with bird watches, walkers, wildlife photographers and cyclists or anyone who wants a relaxing break away surrounded by open countryside. There is plenty to do throughout the year wether you want coast, town or countryside it’s all in easy reach for your enjoyment.

A warm, stylish, peaceful retreat, perfect for a winter break, with seaside walks and cosy pubs a short stroll away. Treat yourself to a relaxing sauna with bracing cold plunge in the garden spa which is paid for separately. Enjoy Whitstable's great restaurants and cosy cafes. Alba Lodge is a double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed. Freshen up in the large walk in shower. Sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

Our guest house is both cosy and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. Basics are provided including towels, bread, coffee, tea and fresh bread or croissants. The living area is comfortable and affords a large TV and fast fibre broadband. Everything you need for a relaxing comfortable stay in a truly quiet peaceful environment.

The Whitstable Oyster - a self-contained studio

The Whitstable Oyster is a private, self-contained studio in a converted side building of our family home. Situated on a quiet road, it’s a 10-minute walk to Whitstable’s high street and around 20 minutes to the beach, with a Co-op close by. Inside, you’ll find a king-size bed, TV, compact kitchen with hob and combi-oven, dining table, sofa, and a separate shower room with toilet. Free street parking is available. A practical and comfortable base to enjoy Whitstable from.

The Oast Cottage: Private Annex with own entrance.

We are pleased to offer our refurbished annex with double bedroom, private bathroom, own front door and a private field for dogs. Oast Cottage is a converted stables attached to the main Oast House. The Oast is set in a conservation area of Boughton Monchelsea which consists of converted farm buildings, listed houses and a 16th Century pub (directly opposite). The area boasts many places to visit (including Leeds Castle), countryside walks, as well as numerous pubs.
