What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

If you’re looking for a remote getaway that offers privacy and the charm of village and farm living, this is the perfect place. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautifully maintained, and the hospitality provided by the host and their family was exceptional. From the homemade, organic food to the locally crafted liquor, everything was delicious and healthy. The barbecue prepared by the host was a highlight—absolutely “yum yum”! They also went above and beyond to assist us with local sightseeing, making our experience even more memorable. A special mention goes to the host’s sweet grandmother, their lovely niece Neema, and their adorable dog Snoopy, who added so much warmth and joy to our stay. There are three reasons to book the place location, location and location. It's the heart of Gangtok & is close to every possible amenities & attractions. Apart from the initial wrong location glitch then we arrived, rest all went smooth. If you are a light sleeper then you'll find the hustle of MG Marg distressing. We dearly missed fully functional kitchen. But all this is made for by the location of the house.

This homestay was exactly as shown in the pictures, the host was really responsive, friendly.During our stay the weather in gangtok was really unpredictable, due to that there is no electricity, water. But the host make sure we are comfortable and kept checking on us. The host guided us really well and she is the best host.

We had a very comfortable great stay here. It was a very well maintained property and the hosts are really accompanting. They even serve homely breakfast which is delicious. Mr. Tenzing and Mr. Chedup are extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Gangtok.

Had a really comfortable stay. The place was clean and spacious. The host was kind, responsive, and super helpful throughout. The only slight downside was the location—it is good but I'd rate it 4/5. That said, everything else more than made up for it. Would definitely recommend!

This property is an oasis of calm and luxury while being easily accessible. Mr Tsewang and Mrs Michele are avuncular, amiable and treated me like a family member. This charming couple is easily one of the best hosts. With their stories and anecdotes compiled from a wealth of experience living in different parts of the world, daily breakfast with them was a highlight of my trip. It was a privilege to be able to share some parts of their lives via insightful conversations and I will treasure these memories. Mr Tenzing is hospitable to a fault and served up excellent food daily. The house has minute touches that elevates your stay with the kind of views guaranteed to leave you awestruck. Everything is squeaky clean and you are provided with all the sundries while being next to a well appointed grocery store. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone yearning for a cozy and insightful stay in the Himalayas. There are no better hosts than Mr and Mrs Topden.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung hat alles was man benötigt. Sie ist gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Tshegyal war immer erreichbar und hat uns bei Fragen geholfen. Die Unterkunft liegt in ruhiger Lage, ein bisschen entfernt vom Zentrum. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb in Gangtok. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Sangay is an amazing host, he made us feel like home in no time. He is very warm to people and very responsive. Always have a great smile on his face. The place is very spacious and cozy. Basic amenities like wifi, geyser, refrigerator, water purifier, room heater etc are available. One can easily come and relax or work from mountains. The 2bhk can easily accommodate 6-8 people.

It was lovely, I booked it for a family short vacation. Well equipped, spacious, clutter free, and clean. It is the best for family or big groups. Location is safe and reachable for services like zomato etc. Host is friendly and responsive, I got all the details proactively. Overall Positive from all POVs.

On request, they served delicious home-cooked meals made from their own home-grown organic ingredients — every dish was fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. The entire property was maintained with excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They also kindly allowed us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated.
