The Mt Baker Ski Area is 51 miles up the road. Your private entry leads into a full kitchen & eating area, open to a spacious living room, with 2 couches, one a queen size sofa bed, with another queen bed off the living room. A separate queen bedroom overlooks the property's large pond. Your private bathroom completes the space.

Come enjoy a very TINY HOUSE (120 sq ft) experience in the heart of beautiful Whatcom County. Go for a hike on our local trails, explore the many breweries in Bellingham, visit the beach in Birch Bay, bike the county roads, or enjoy a scenic drive on the Mt. Baker Highway. Then come back to a unique, cozy TINY HOUSE. Roast marshmallows around the campfire, snuggle up and watch a movie on Netflix, and relax with a cup of coffee on the front porch in the morning. The guesthouse has a full-size kitchen, living room, queen bedroom with attached bath, enclosed laundry porch, WiFi, and large screen TV (firestick media). A private back deck with a fenced in area. Guests have access to the walking paths, visiting with the horses, and the gazebo hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.

Unique and tranquil getaway. The Walnut hut is a cozy rustic cabin on our 9 acre permaculture biodynamic farm. Peaceful country setting. We are about 6 miles from Bellingham, Lynden and Ferndale, and 17 miles from the Canadian border. Seasonal Farmstand. Farm tours available by appointment. Shared bathroom with shower in a nearby building, and an outdoor kitchen usually available April thru October.

Great get away, conveniently placed between Mt Baker (38 miles) and Bellingham (11 miles) Internet, open fields and forest around cabin, well placed for hikers, skiers & exploring Bellingham. Great couples get away: 760 sq ft cabin with a king bed, double head shower & cozy fireplace. Bunk beds (limited headroom on top bunk) & queen sofa bed make it possible for a max of 6 guests.
