Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

This cabin is an absolute gem! David and his wife are the most welcoming hosts, making sure every detail is perfect. The space is spotless, stylish, and beyond comfortable. You can feel the love and care they put into hosting. We loved every moment and would come back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay, the pod (pod 2) accommodation was fantastic and fitted our needs as a family of 4, with brilliant views that could be enjoyed from the hot tub. The onsite play park for kids was unexpected but really good and there was plenty of other space for them to play too. We didn't pay attention to which pod we had booked but there are different internal layouts and orientations/locations on the site so something we will be aware of next time we come.

Amazing place, great hosts. Had a really nice weekend here. Place is in such a nice location there wasn’t any need to go out anywhere. Loved the stay!

Lovely lodge in serene setting - very very quiet on single track road. Cycle paths very close. Sherwood pines centre close. Great stay with two grandchildren and family called in.

Very cosy stay, love the outdoor facilities and weather was divine so it really has the perfect set up. Hot tub, TV outside (a nice touch) ping pong and hosts were kind enough to leave some drinks and snacks not to mention brought us extra bedding. Very peaceful, beautiful garden and setting. Our dogs had the best time too. Several pubs within 5 min driving distance.

Having never been to Lincolnshire this was a first, the lodge looked great and we weren’t disappointed! The location is incredible, so close to beautiful park (jubilee gardens). The site the lodge is on, is clean, spacious and just incredibly peaceful and scenic. The hot hub is a great addition! The pictures don’t do the lodge itself justice, immaculately clean, with so much room. The beds were comfy and the bunk beds were a massive hit with my little one. All the bedding was fresh and pillows lovely. TVs in all rooms! Robes and soft towels! Lovely furnishings! We can’t recommend this beautiful lodge in such a beautiful location anymore! Emma was clear and checked in pre and post check outs. We will definitely stay again and woodhall spa is special place now for us! Thank you ❤️

Stayed here after a great day at Alton Towers. Steve was a fantastic host, and the property was exactly as described. Felt right at home, and the directions were brilliant. I couldn’t believe how close we were to the park, but how serene and quiet the area was! I could not recommend this Airbnb enough - cheers!

This was a fantastic find for us and can’t get over how beautiful not only the accommodation was but the setting too! Such a peaceful place with fabulous views over the lake. The only downside was that we were only there for one night! Definitely will be returning if we are in the area. Special mention to the host Andy who was super friendly and helpful.

Stayed at Emma’s place for 3 days & wished we had booked for longer, had everything we needed, loved the welcoming gift of chocolates & a bottle of wine. The Costa machine was so nice & a lovely touch. We had lots of walks with the dogs on our doorstep & lovely views of the lake. Will definitely return 😍

No better way to celebrate our moms 76th birthday weekend. Beautiful to wake up to such a beautiful location, made all the better that the sun was actually shining! Booked this stay as a last minute get away and we absolutely loved it, the pod is great and it has a gate to keep your dog inside! Toilet and shower rooms are spotless. The fishing lakes are lovely, Adele is great and is everything you look for in a host. Had a fantastic time and will be rebooking as soon as I’ve posted this review!

I loved my stay here. The location was perfect for my cycling and trips to Burton. Really peaceful surroundings just the odd clip clip of hooves, a very pleasant sound. I haven’t slept this well in ages, the bed was so comfortable. The accommodation had everything you could need. I will be making it my go to place to stay whenever I’m taking a trip to the midlands.

Great relaxing and quiet stay in the cabin. It was warm and had everything you need, the hosts left fruit, cereal and milk which is a nice touch. Easy to arrange check in with messages through the day. Nice warm shower too. The hosts came and said hi and welcomed us then left us to relax. Perfect and highly recommended.

We spent Easter weekend at Lodge Phoenix. The experience was unreal, the beauty unmatched. The place was tastefully decorated. Maria was very responsive and helped us out promptly. Highly highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

My son and I stayed here for two nights to break the journey from South Wales to watch our football team lose away at Grimsby - and I’m really glad we found it. It was the perfect quirky retreat - we loved having a woodburner so we could enjoy a roaring fire, and we had a brilliant time birdwatching in the nearby College Woods. There were also plenty of games and activities on site so we both had a very welcome break from screens and distractions. Patrick could not have been more helpful and gave us plenty of good recommendations for places to visit locally. It was a lovely couple of days (despite the football!) and I’m so glad we made a proper weekend of it.

A great and peaceful stay in the Peak District, exactly as pictured in the photos. We were very grateful to find some breakfast had been provided in the fridge on arrival for the next morning and the restaurant was a beautiful 5km walk along the edge of the lake.
