Absolutely love this place! So private, on a ton of land with a gate and everything, and so many amenities, the indoor pool is absolutely crazy! Love it

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

The property was exactly as described in the listing. The photos represented the actual house very well. Everything in the house was neat and clean as well. Nikki was very responsive to any questions we had and worked to accommodate us as much as possible. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Million dollar views! We enjoyed our stay beautiful views of the sunset right on the lake. This place was so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Scott communicated and checked on us during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

My friends & I enjoyed this stay overall. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, & the house definitely served that purpose in many ways. It's very big & spacious, many cozy rooms with very comfy beds, & of course the best part of the property is the SPECTACULAR view of the lake, no matter where you're in or around the house. Also really loved the sun room but was disappointed we mostly couldn't use it at night because it was too cold out and the space is not well-insulated or heated. We tried to use space heaters, but that mostly didn't work. There were a few other issues throughout the house, like a few of the sunroom panes being off their track and seemingly impossible to put back on, a broken freezer handle, big speakers throughout the common areas that mostly didn't work, string lights in the sun room that were partially out and the main light out there not coming on, & the stove requiring stainless steel pots and pans to work. Otherwise, a great spot & getaway. I would come back.

Very convenient to the Whitewater Center, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated that the house wasn’t cluttered so there wasn’t much for my toddler to mess with.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Terrell was an awesome host! He is very kind, responsive and helpful. His place was beautiful and is a great option for individuals or small groups of 2 or 3 who are attending events in the local Charlotte area. I definitely recommend booking with him!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The view was spectacular, the area was peaceful, and it was close to lots of things to do. The apartment was stocked with everything I needed for the stay. I enjoyed the decor and I felt comfortable and right at home when relaxing in the space. The hosts were friendly and responsive. I would stay here again.

this COMPOUND was better than pics give credit. it’s a lot of space with a lot of privacy, great combination. very spacious, great bathrooms. excellent communication with host made it easy. highly recommended

Christy's property was exactly what we needed for a girls trip to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. Every detail was thoughtful down to snacks for when we first got there to amenities in the bathroom in case we forgot things at home. The property itself was gorgeous and had so many places to hand out and relax. Christy was great to provide clear instructions to help us navigate the property as well. Could definitely see many more trips here in the future!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

Thank you for the hospitality and generosity with the thoughtful snacks, coffee, water, and available alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines and ciders. We would absolutely stay here again, as it truly was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in

Beautiful and relaxing little cabin by a pond. Great for excursions to hiking spots in the region. Joey was very helpful and responsive. Be aware that there is no stove/oven, but there is a microwave and gas grill. We really enjoyed using the grill, which is on a patio overlooking the pond!
