What a gem of a place! My young girls enjoyed exploring the yard and going on walks, taking in the gorgeous views. The home is beautiful. We went to Orr’s Farmers Market and had everything we needed in the kitchen to make dinner with what we purchased there. The host provided all the necessary details and getting in and out was smooth.

It was really lovely to see the Cuckoo Chalet at this tme of year. The Deer would walk through the yard in the morning, and it was like being in observatory. We could eatch the Canda Geese at play on thelake. A wonderful time. The house if so cozy!

The cabin was perfect for staying with our two kids. The playrooms and well stocked kitchen and rooms made it easy to keep them entertained and relax in the mountains. Thank you for your hospitality!

We loved the house and its location. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit tremendously. Sunrise was beautiful as was the full moon rising. Our host Christine was pleasant and responsive and informed us the house was ready early and we could check in early! We will definitely return! Our pups loved running around the yard!

Highly recommend this home for your Wintergreen stay. First, the hosts were extremely proactive in sending detailed information from check-in instructions to suggestions on local activities. The host was responsive within minutes with any questions we had. The house is very well stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was perfect for 3 couples in our party, not many homes have 3 master suites. The house has 2 family rooms which added great additional space. The location is convenient to the Wintergreen lodge, not ski in/ski out but an easy drive down to the resort, seriously just a few minutes. I highly recommend waking up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the big window on the main level, can't beat the views. Everyone in our party was extremely happy with our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place. The location is beautiful (especially when it snows!) and the house was spacious and well taken care of/furnished. Also lots of board games etc available. Amy was also really helpful and proactive, offering to let us leave later on check out day due to a snow storm. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape near Harpers Ferry!

We stayed at David's wonderful home for a few days around the New Year's. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds comfortable and the gas fireplace was really comforting when it was cold and stormy outside. wonderful location close to the national wildlife refuge, State Parks and the great little towns of Davis and Thomas West Virginia. highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay for 16 Moms on a weekend away on a girls trip. The house had everything we needed and provided lots of spaces for people to spread out or to gather. Lea was extremely communicative and prior to the trip answering our questions and granted us a late checkout at our request. She quickly responded with a maintenance person for a minor issue we had.

Just the place for a nice family getaway! Beautiful home with lots of amenities. The home is very spacious and comfortable. The living room with the 4 recliners was very nice and used for our family game nights. My 8 yr old granddaughter especially loved the ping pong table along with the keyboard in the lower level. Jenny was quick to respond to any questions we had. The winery she suggested was a lovely atmosphere for our Saturday afternoon. Our Saturday night outside fire 🔥 with s’mores topped off our night. I highly suggest this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway.

Kathryn’s home was absolutely beautiful and spacious enough to accommodate my whole party. There was plenty of activities to do inside the house so there was never a dull moment! Kathryn was super responsive and helpful during our time there. Cant wait to book here again the next time we visit Wintergreen!

Our stay at the Chalet was absolutely wonderful!!! The property is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and our boys loved having their own bunk beds. We 100% would stay here again. The only issue we had was the amount of gnats that were all over the Harpers Ferry area in general. They did not bother you at all on either one of the porch areas of the house though which was wonderful. When we go again we would probably go in the fall when the gnats are less of an issue, but would definitely stay at this amazing property again.

My children and I had such a wonderful time at the lodge. The view is priceless. We enjoyed each and every day and hated to leave. The beautiful outdoor deck with amazing views, the hot tub, the wall of windows with the very best Mountain View and the game area downstairs were all highlights for us. We appreciated and took advantage of the local recommendations and can’t wait to return. Lauren was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions immediately throughout the stay. We hope to be back!

The house was the perfect location to celebrate our son’s engagement with his fiancé and her family!

This was the perfect spot to visit with family. Extremely comfortable home in a private, wooded area. We saw tons of deer and enjoyed sitting in the hot tub amongst the woods watching a stunning sunset in the snow. Campfire was great with a smokeless fire pit which was perfect for s’mores! I can’t say enough about the kitchen!!!! It was stunning and HUGE!!! Well appointed with everything we needed. We will definitely be back here for our kids wedding.

The house is amazing! The space is beautiful, clean, and luxurious. It is probably the nicest airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The location is peaceful and has great hiking spots and wineries close by. This was a perfect spot for a getaway weekend with a group of friends!
