We had such a great stay. Few can say they have a direct view of Edinburgh Castle from their kitchen and bedroom! The apartment was clean, functional and so well kept. Lynne was a fantastic host and on hand to take any questions. The location is amazing, a few minutes from all the attractions. As a holiday cottage owner myself, I was so pleased to see that all the safety standards and regulations were met. Lynne is a credit to the industry.

The apartment is located on a quiet street off the grassmarket, with lots of restaurants nearby and perfect for exploring Old Town on foot. You can see Edinburgh Castle from the living room, and it's a 10-minute to the top of the hill (if you don't get distracted by all of the shops along the way). Susie and Amit are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with fresh bread and pastry from a local bakery, which we paired with cheeses from a cheesemonger just up the street (Mellis Cheese Victoria Street). They also accommodated our request for an early check-in after our overnight international flight (a lifesaver), and they were quick to answer any questions when we arrived, even making a special trip over to check on the shower while we were sightseeing. The apartment's decor was very warm and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. We made good use of the table, which seats up to 4 people, and found that the kitchen covered all of our basic necessities. A great stay!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, very central to the city, yet still had that private, home from home feel. Beds are super comfortable and the place was squeaky clean. Craig and Holly are fantastic and super accommodating! I couldn’t recommend them more!

We had a wonderful stay in Edinburgh! The location is great and walkable, with many restaurants, pubs, and parks nearby. Eddie was responsive, friendly, and gave us local recommendations. We loved it!

Gertrud is a great host, the property is as described, no nasty surprises. The beds are warm and comfy, the kitchen is super well equipped, and the kids even found spades and buckets for the beach. All in all a great stay, highly recommended for the warmer months as the beach is only 10/15 minutes away, nice sandy beach. Good frequency of trains to Edinburgh too. It is a beautiful well kept village.

An obvious 5* rating, would have gone higher! The flat was meticulous; beautifully decorated, very clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, large shower, and a kitchen with all the amenities plus welcome food! We loved our stay here and will try hard to return. The location is perfect for restaurants, buses and walking to all Edinburgh has to offer. As two women on holidays it was a very safe neighbourhood and Ubers always arrived within 1 minute. We spent plenty of time in the living room with the two large windows overlooking a park and letting the sunshine stream in - it was beautiful. I love Edinburgh and now I love this place. You won't regret staying here.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience . Lynne was a responsive and helpful host. The apartment surpassed our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity one would want in a holiday apartment. It was exquisitely decorated and felt more like a home than a holiday let. The location was central and in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. It was peaceful and yet , within walking distance of shops, restaurants and of course, the Castle itself. We had an incident with a leaking pen and mortified when ink seeped into the bedsheet. Lynne was sympathetic and understanding . Her reaction was both unexpected and very welcome!

My mother and I enjoyed this comfortable location. We cooked our meals, did grocery shopping close by and the kitchen had everything we needed. Locating and check-in was very easy. Plenty of space and clean. A lot of things to do around Edinburgh. We loved the historic locations, visited the puffins, did a mini island trip and soaked in the views.

Loved this spot!! Super cozy and chill, the large living room was perfect. We did forget about the 4 floors of stairs we needed to take up, and we heard some late night parties going home pretty clearly through the window facing the street. Overall a really great stay!

This was a perfect place for us to stay which was 3 couples. It was in close proximity for walking to many of Edinburgh’s many sights. The host was quick to respond to our questions. The only thing I would suggest to a new renter, is when keying in on Maps is to use both STREET & LANE as our host has it listed. This was our problem, not the hosts. The patio was very nice to sit out and enjoy the neighborhood. If I come back to Edinburgh, I would stay in this BnB again.

Stylish accommodation in a great location for exploring the city.

The apartment we had was super nicely done out, with little touches like robes and slippers and an incredibly central location. You are a stones throw from everything in Edinburgh (though this does mean parking is a bit of a faff). The bed was amazingly comfy and the kitchen was relatively well stocked for most things. If you have a lot of luggage / push chair, note there is no lift and a significant number of stairs up to the various flats. Also the photos are of various flats and not the specific flat we got.

Clean and nice flat in the heart of Edinburgh. Nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Shopping and restaurants are close by, within easy walking distance. It's on a side street with a bunch of nearby restaurants, so it was a bit noisy well into the night, so be sure to bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, there's no parking included, and the parking nearby is very expensive. Overall, a great place to stay if you're looking to be close to everything in Edinburgh.

Absolutely perfect stay in Jing’s beautiful and huge appartment! The place looked exactly like shown in the photos, much bigger in reality! It was perfect distance to everything, close to the city, many restaurants around, and also 2 supermarkets near by. Jing is a great host, easy to get in touch with and was very clear with the instructions we needed. We were super happy with our stay and once we plan a new trip to Edinburgh we will for sure be back here!

Overall, this was a great apartment in a great location as it was easy for our golf and a short cab ride to get into Edinburgh and Leith.

We spent a lovely couple of days in The Secret Orchard. The house is perfect, the gardens are lovely and Matt was very helpful and responsive. Thanks very mucu

We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Charul's apartment and would definitely stay there again! From the moment of booking to departure communication was flawless and we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, decorated beautifully and we had everything that we could have needed. The apartment is well situated and only a short walk to princes street and Edinburgh Waverley so the perfect location to explore the city.

Great Central position just off the Royal Mile. Lovely little flat. Just be aware it's three stories up, but will keep you fit.

It was amazing, lovely place, enough parking space and the host was always responsive and also friendly. Thanks for having us.

Jamie made sure we were welcomed into the house and gave us hints and tips for the local area. There was a problem with the heating when we arrived (start of the season niggles) but he had a sparky and plumber on site immediately. The house is a great location and Elie is so chilled with great places to eat and central for day trips to other beautiful villages such as Crail and Anstruther. The main living area works so well with kitchen, dining table and lounge area all together plus enough comfy seating for 8 to 10 people (a major failing in many houses with 4 or 5 beds). We all loved our time there
