We had a lovely stay at Orchard’s nest for my partner’s 40th. It was really relaxing, beautifully furnished, the bed and linen were so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend for a place to relax and reset.

The place is beautiful - located on a hill and had a view of the surroundings. It was close to the nearby town, which had plenty of food options and was also only a short drive to the centre of Hobart. Nick gave us recommendations of local restaurants which were fantastic. The place was spotless, and amenities were great! We really enjoyed the sauna. Would highly recommend who is looking for a private and relaxing location but also close to the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Such a peaceful and relaxing place to end our Tassie trip. Gorgeous little cottage in a beautiful area. Thanks so much to Karen for being so friendly and making us feel at home. The kids really enjoyed picking your yummy fresh fruit with you and playing frisbee and finska on the lawn. Definitely recommend!

Serene and spectacular. This was the perfect place to stay to switch off from everything. If you’re looking for something wonderfully peaceful but still just a short drive from Hobart this is your place. This cosy home was exactly as described, making for a spacious and comfortable stay

Perfect location, the property is better than the pictures, great outlook, serenity some of the best sunrises I have seen. Anna and Tim were the best hosts, loads of beautiful touches, cheese and chocolate - very responsive and so helpful with great local recommendations. Would return again and recommend to any friends wanting a slice of luxury and a real getaway. 5 Star plus !!

Such an incredible little spot. The place is so well set up - comfy and lots of lovely little touches that make you feel at home. Views of surrounding mountains, cows and fresh pastries just down the road made our stay perfect!

Perfect location for a peaceful afternoon and night before the 3 Capes walk

Macey went above and beyond to make us very welcome and comfortable . We were able to check out later which gave us a little more time to pack up. We loved the outdoor fireplace the firewood was all ready and well stocked . Very cosy and homey , very comfortable bed and crisp linen. The record player was a hit and enjoyed the board games . Make sure you are well stocked up and prepare if cooking to save time and money with shopping etc however there is enough great cafes and unique restaurants around . Great facilities for dogs and dog friendly beach close by . If there was a laundry it would totally be a 10/10 however that did not disappoint us as it wasn’t a priority . A wonderful relaxing place and totally recommend if you like to be away from the hustle and bustle . Beautiful flora and fauna surrounding in particular the birds and flowers . A home with character !

Randall’s Bay is a beautiful sleepy spot to spend some time, and staying at Aurora Cliff’s feels just like staying at a cosy family shack with stunning views and comfy beds.

What a beautiful location this was! Very private & secluded. It was raining, so we snuggled up with the fire going and just relaxed! Loved the recommendations for local places, we checked most of them out 🥰 The place was super clean, cosy and you felt way way way up in the sky. The food provided was insanely generous and yummy! Thank you! Would recommend this place in a heart beat 😊

Hidden gem if you’re looking to relax and kick back. Unbelievably thoughtful little touches from a card, to a gift hamper featuring wonderful handmade &local produce made for an amazing welcome. The photos probably don’t do the place justice either, it’s bigger than it looks and even nicer in person. Couldn’t recommend more for a little escape. Loved it.

Such a fantastic stay! The house was so well appointed and it was also great to have a little supermarket down the road too. All the windows overlook beautiful Australian bush and the bath is a must-do. The kitchen had everything we needed (we cooked at home over the three nights) and a fantastic coffee machine too. Can’t fault our stay. Thank you Beth!

We had a very relaxing three day stay at Fairy Wren’s Nest. The welcome tea and generous amount of breakfast were provided at arrival which was very nice. Great location to visit the southern part of Huon region. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the country style stay in a quiet surrounding.

An absolute gem of a property, we instantly fell in love with the location and the living space. The deck and BBQ were enjoyed as well as the little track down to a private beach on the river. Julie was really easy to contact with and gave a great local itinerary which we followed to a t. We loved our 3 night stay, a perfect base for exploring the Huon Valley and beyond.

We have enjoyed our week long stay here so much. So relaxed and peaceful with the wild life surroundings and the beautiful spring running through at the bottom of the cabin. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a memorable holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Dana’s cabin. The location is incredible, surrounded by bushland with stunning views of the ocean. The cabin is warm and cozy with a fireplace and heated floors. It’s centrally located and easy drive to most places on the island. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay next time.
