Amazing host! Everything you could think of needing, was provided. Even snacks! And lots of them! It was so beautiful and peaceful. Beds, linen and pillows so comfy. She most definitely thought of everything to make it feel like home.

Great private place with all the ammenities listed, the cabin is beautiful and cozy. Communication was consistently proactive, very clear, and friendly. Mike is a great host and very nice. Will definitely stay again.

The place was exactly as described. I would highly recommend staying if you are ever visiting Beatrice. So much closer than the hotels.

This location is perfect if you need somewhere relatively close to Marysville, BlueRapids, Seneca areas even Wamego, Manhattan, or Beatrice, NE. Yes a little bit more of a drive to some areas like Topeka or Kansas City, approximately 90 miles give or take, but so quiet. The local grocery store has a wonderful selection of staples and then some and their meat is fabulous! You may need to wait for the train occasionally, be patient, it is rural America and it might take 10 minutes or less. But you can get anywhere in town under 8 minutes. Route 9 bar has wonderful food. Check out their specials and the pizza!

Great little getaway spot on a peaceful lake. We sat on the dock and looked up at the stars without city light pollution, built a fire, went fishing and grilled some steaks. The amenities at “the cottage” were plentiful with a few bonuses like very tall ceilings, a very new and functional air/heat machine, a wine tasting, no bugs or ant issues at all and even a few friendly cats who came to say hello. We plan to stay here again in the future and are thankful to Brad and his family for hosting such a nice retreat!

This is our 2nd time staying here and like before, it was exactly what we needed on a weekend get away with the family. Lana and her husband were able to accommodate our big family in their cozy cabin. Even stopped by to check in on us. Thank you for accepting our stay once again! Peace, quiet and birds chirping was music to our ears. We had no problems at all during our stay. We enjoyed every minute! Thank you Lana and husband.
