The peace and quiet of the area, along with natures many visitors to the garden and woods enables you to unwind and relax.

Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.
