Beer has a lovely selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. There are plenty of coastal path or countryside walks. Branscombe, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are nearby.

Walks across the cliffs towards Branscombe and the other way to Seaton as well as close to local attractions such as Dartmoor and. Exmoor. Please be aware there is a fairly long steep hill from the village/beach up to the caravan park.

The shingle beach with promenade is a mile long, with easy access to the Southwest coast path.

There are two fine pubs supplying excellent food and locally brewed ales in the village and amazing cliff path walks East or West.
