Courtyard Cottage is a quintessential thatched, two bedroom homestay that has been carefully restored to provide a luxury retreat. Spacious & comfortable with open-plan lounge/ kitchen, stone floors, whitewashed walls and oak doors leading out to a sunny courtyard perfect for relaxing after a days exploration . The property is part of a 16th century former farmhouse, set in the centre of an unspoilt Somerset village, just a short walk to a gorgeous pub serving locally sourced food & drink.

Coast, countryside and towns at your fingertips

Recently refurbished one bed accommodation suitable for up to four people (and one well behaved dog) but please note 3rd and 4th guest will be using the sofa bed in the living room. Use of the wc and shower is accessed via the main bedroom. Plenty of storage for our guests is available and there is a large patio area with barbecue and table and chairs for your sole use. There is also one off road parking space available. We have great links to the Jurassic coast, market towns and Country walks

A pretty detached historic 3 bedroom flint cottage up a private drive with a wood burner, delightful private garden, terrace, summer house and deck area overlooking a pond full of wildlife. Set in an AONB it is walking distance to the charming village of Thorncombe with a great community run shop and playground. There are lots of walks from the doorstep, plenty of wildlife and no light pollution, so amazing night skies, with the Jurassic coast and plenty of historic houses close by to explore.

The Annexe is ideal for short breaks be it walking, exploring beautiful West Dorset or visiting friends and family. Spend time exploring the Jurassic Coast with the coastal towns of Lyme Regis and West Bay just 25 minutes drive away, or choose a walk from the door. Nearby are Lewesdon Hill, noted for its beautiful Blue Bells in early May, and Pilsdon Pen, the highest point in Dorset.
