We had a lovely stay at Ali's apartment. A lot of care has been put into the flat to make it a very comfortable stay. A very central location and spacious one bed flat.

It was a wonderful location just by the grassmarket, about 10-15 minute walk from all major attractions. There are plenty of great food and shopping options nearby. The place was clean, the kitchen well equipped and had all modern amenities you could need. The cot/sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on though. Besides that, everything was perfect.

Malcom’s place was amazing. Very close to the river and restaurants/lively part of town while also being in a quiet neighborhood. Malcom and maggie were both extremely responsive and kind. They had a lot of thoughtful touches (milk, cereal, tea, light snacks all in apartment, emergency contact numbers right by door, recommendations for things to do. The apartment was as described in the listing and very clean. The on site parking was very nice as street parking would be tricky on narrow streets. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Excellent property for 1-2 guests. Excellent having owners next door and who kept in touch without being intrusive during the stay. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Only surprise was an Airbnb cleaning fee added to the quote but was not expensive.

Beautifully appointed and spacious apartment. This had all the necessities and more. We particularly appreciated the list of local recommendations and the travel books provided for ideas and descriptions of local attractions. The apartment is in a great location - felt very safe with lots of restaurants and stores nearby that were easy to walk to. Check-in was easy and check out requirements were minimum, which was appreciated. The only negative is the number of steps required to enter the apartment. I understood from the description there would be stairs, but it’s about 4 flights up to enter & then another set immediately to get to the living space. That said, the space overall is great and worked well for our multi-generational group of 6.

Booked the apartment for our colleague working in the area, month long booking for a job. Colin is very friendly, polite and extremely helpful! Would highly recommend Colin to anyone staying in the area! Will happily book again!

Yen's place was a perfect location for our stay within walking distance to all the attractions and also had free carparking space. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The flooring needs to be updated as others have mentioned. Yen was a great host and would definitely recommend staying.

Lovely accommodation in beautiful setting. Really great restaurant under the apartment. Accommodation was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a short stay.

Great communication from our hosts before arrival with clear instructions on how to get into the apartment. The apartment was warm and welcoming. The sofas and beds were comfortable. There is a lovely shared garden behind the property which we didn't use this time. There is a useful shop directly opposite the apartment and a nice pub serving meals around the corner. We look forward to a longer visit next time.
