Wisteria Cottage is a perfect rural getaway in the picturesque surroundings of the Dartmoor countryside. Located in the small village of Scorriton near Buckfastleigh it’s ideal for walks, visiting the coast or beautiful nearby towns of Ashburton (15 minute drive) and Totnes (20 minute drive). Scorriton is located on the Two Moors Way and there are stunning walks from your front door. The kitchen is well equipped to refuel after a day out or you are a two minute walk from the lovely local pub.

Welcome to Stares' Nest Escape to a 14th-century cottage inside Dartmoor National Park, beside Holne’s Norman church. The Two Moors Way passes through the village, with wild walks in every direction. Stargaze in total darkness, with no streetlights to interrupt the sky. Inside, the AGA keeps things cosy, the fire crackles easily, and the beds are blissfully comfortable. Outside, a sun-drenched private patio and pretty rockery lead to a large, peaceful lawned garden. A rare and restful retreat.

5 min walk to Ashburton. Own garden and parking

North Mill Cottage is bright, spacious and self-contained with its own entrance. It is all on one level with oak flooring throughout, and has its own garden and parking for one car. It was built 16 years ago adjoining the main house which is around 300 years old. The cottage sleeps 2 with one bedroom (king size bed), large living room, fully equipped kitchen inc. Nespresso coffee machine. We provide tea/coffee and a welcome hamper which includes home baked bread, butter, jam, milk and treats!

Deanburn Barn is a cosy, straw bale barn which sits nestled at the end of a private drive on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. It provides a unique, rural retreat for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers wishing to get away from it all. Sitting amongst beautiful, ancient beech trees, our cosy, straw bale barn is an ideal place to come and relax and to leave the world behind. The barn is detached and is surrounded by trees, open fields and the sound of birds and running water.

Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. Set in the village of Ponsworthy, directly on the Two Moors Way and within short driving distance of many of Dartmoor’s Tors, walks and beauty spots is Quinn Tor with its own beautiful hill and river front, mature oaks- and a rock formation we lovingly call our own little Tor. The Wheelhouse is set on Quinn Tor and has been lovingly converted into a unique and beautiful barn with tranquil, comfortable and modern interiors. It is a much loved home and we are now happy to welcome guests!

Hawson farm Gibby cottage

Welcome to Hawson Farm Cottages a non working farm set within Dartmoor National Park. Set in a secluded Dartmoor valley with the Gibby-Coombe stream from the Holy Brooke running through the woodland surround. Ideal for nature lovers who enjoy walking, cycling, birdwatching and even stargazing. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space, the perfect self contained getaway, with Dartmoor on your doorstep, two local pubs a community shop and a tea room just a short walk away.

Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.

We also have a river just 15min walk away, so you can experience the magical fairy elemental land of Devon with oak trees and moss. Every visitor to this land leaves feeling nourished, refreshed and deeply connected to Nature.
