We welcome most Pets to join you, offering an adjacent secure yard. If inside we ask they are not left inside alone , sit on the couches / beds and when outside, animals must be on lead as our farm animals are near by. Located at High Country/Alpine region RUSHCLIFF is your home away from home. Contemporary elegance, it defines sophisticated River Front/Mountain living at its finest. The Hut at Elm Tree Farm, Mansfield

The Hut at Elm Tree Farm is a place to switch off and reconnect with nature. It sits on 160 rolling acres and is surrounded by a 5000 acre working farm. It is an off grid restored shearer's hut with a separate bathroom/toilet and outdoor kitchen. USB charging is available. The hut operates on 12 volt power and gas is provided for water heating and cooking. There is a indoor fireplace for warmth and an outdoor firepit for fun. It is for guests who enjoy outdoor adventures! Note unfenced dams.

The home has a massive outdoor dining area with fire pit & BBQ. Inside is a split system for heating/cooling and a coonara fireplace for cold, wintry weather. Firewood can usually be purchased from the Bonnie Doon service station. Views from every window, a 10 minute drive to the local pub (dogs welcome) and lake. Come and enjoy!

Rustic shed house in Merrijig

When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs.
