This AirBnB was amazing. Fully stocked, fresh linens, ultra clean, some complimentary food considering our long drive and remote location. Their dog on the lawn is the friendliest too! A wonderful example Labrador Hospitality :)

The Settlers Inn was a great place for our one night stay. We all felt right at home, enjoyed a movie in the big living room area, had a great breakfast cooked up in the morning, and slept like babies. There were nice additions like a wall mirror and extra lighting in the washroom. Two washrooms were great for 4 people. The icing on the cake was the yummy treats left for us! They were delicious and appreciated very much! Don't hesitate to book this place if your looking for a great place to stay:)

We have stayed at another of Catherine's properties and were equally pleased with the house in Salmon Rock (now known as Bear Cove). It was super close to the ferry, so we will definitely be staying here again - my children appreciated not having to get up ridiculously early to drive for our 8 am crossing to Labrador. This house was pet friendly, which our senior Lab liked (as she could come with us), and everything was incredibly comfortable and clean. It is on a quiet street and very peaceful - beds were super comfy! King bed and private ensuite in the master bedroom. There were some stairs up to the front door and some more stairs up to the bedrooms and bathrooms, but this wasn't an issue for us. There were multiple couches and comfy chairs for relaxing together in the main living space, access to washer and dryer, dishwasher to make cooking and cleaning up a breeze, and all the utensils/coffee/etc. that we needed. Everything was perfect. Loved this stay! We'll be back!

Belle vieille maison typique, rénové bien situé si prévoyez allez au nord! Il y a des enfants qui joue dehors après l’école. Ça fait du bien de voire ça! Vous rencontrerez sûrement cette charmante voisine Rita avec qui viendra vous salué! Si ça vous dit de vous faire un repas de moules il y en a tout près et faciles à cueillir! Nous avons passé du bon temps à cet endroit.

My favourite place to stay on the south coast, this is a repeat visit for me. Clean, cozy, and quiet apartment with all the essentials. Close to the grocery store and many trails & tourist attractions. Margaret is a wonderful host and excellent baker. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Big Land Cottage. It’s a beautiful space -inside and out - and just what you’d hope for in a coastal Labrador cottage. The house was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all we needed in the kitchen. The views are terrific from the living and dining rooms, and from the outside deck and yard. The location was a great midway point for a day of touring to the south and then a day to the north. Thanks, Matt, for providing this great space for travelers.

We stayed here as a family of 4 with two young boys. It was exactly as you would expect from a camper, our boys were thrilled to be staying there. Ada was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The property couldn't be in a better location, it was very relaxing hearing the waves as we were sleeping. Kids loved being close to the beach and exploring the lighthouse near by.

Such a beautiful peaceful place. More beautiful than the pictures if that’s possible!. We throughly enjoyed our stay with the beach in front, very comfortable beds, the views and beautifully decorated home. The bath overlooking the bay was a special treat. The three of us got to sleep in the master bedroom to experience the sunrise through the amazing window. 🙂 Can’t say enough good things about the experience of our first visit to southern Labrador.
