Cozy Loft at Carrick Creek Farmstead

Carrick Creek Farmstead is a sanctuary in the corner of Southeast Bruce County in Ontario. The Farmstead offers you 170 acres of rolling hills, a woodlot and walking trails. The Loft is a suite above our garage. A king bed and pull out sofa bed allow accommodation for 4 adults. The loft has kitchen facilities, shower, television, and air conditioning for the summer. Enjoy a meal on the nearby patio. If you would like to enjoy some prepared food from the Carrick Creek kitchen, just ask.

This comfy wood cabin built in 2019, is just what you need to get away from the constant distractions of urban life. Unplug and soak up the sights and sounds of nature, breathe and relax. Nestled on a beautiful hobby farm, the cabin is a short 3km bike ride or drive to the beautiful shores of Lake Huron and the town of Port Elgin with it's unique shops and eateries. The queen size bed is on the main floor and the loft provides another sleeping space or storage.

Enjoy exclusive use of 50 acres of varied woodlands with over 4km marked & maintained nature trails (loaner snowshoes provided!) and special features like a SoundForest, a meditative walking labyrinth, plus a sauna made of local cedar... it’s like having your own private park! Conveniently located to the historic sites, waterfalls, the Bruce trail, rail trails for hiking and snowmobiling. Short 20 minute drive to Owen Sound. Sauble Beach 40 minutes. Tobermory drive 1 hr 1/2. Markdale 20 minutes. Enjoy the sites surrounding or a peaceful night by the campfire with campfire wood provided.
