We rented Kristina's place for a hiking trip, and enjoyed it a lot. The surrounding area is beautiful, there's lots to do and we wished we could have stayed longer. The lodging was as described, the photos are accurate, and the views are STUNNING. Watching the weather over the mountain range out the big picture window was GREAT. The kitchen is large, and well furnished. The main dining room table is big enough to play board games, the hot tub is well maintained and easily held 4 adults, the deck is lovely. Beds were comfy. One minor issue, the shower in the en-suite bathroom wasn't working. We contacted Kristina and the owner was there within maybe 30-60 minutes to address the issue. He gave us a temporary solution and that worked fine for the long weekend. We had a great time and would stay again!

Sonja is amazing to deal with. Very proactive and accessible. The house was in great shape. Her bathrooms were great - up to date, great hot water/pressure. She leaves clear directions and sets up the home to look like an inn (waters and flowers in the bedrooms). Perfect location to walk to town and only 15 mins from Whiteface. Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

Amazing place to stay with the family or friends! One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in my 100’s of visits to the ADK’s!!!

John and Chrissie's home was perfect for our President's Week getaway of work and play. The hosts checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed and we felt right at home. The home is well loved and cozy on those sub zero Adirondack nights. The location is also great! - walkable to all things in town and close to major hiking trails. We will definitely be back!

This is our 2nd time staying at your place in less than a year. We plan to rent it again this fall if available. We absolutely love the space this house has. Thank you again for another wonderful visit to Saranac Lake.

Wonderful 5 days at Gristmill Springs! When the weather was good for hiking, there were many great options nearby. When the weather was only so-so, the fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, strong WiFi, and comfortable reading chairs provided all I needed. This is a gem of a place and I’m glad to have found it.

The farmhouse was a delightful place to stay in lake placid. Behind the house was a rail trail, it was busy but not crowded. People on the trail were respectful; we hardly noticed them. The cabin is fully stocked with basic needs plus more. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the house. The house is closer to the street than I expected but the street was pretty quiet. The house is in very close proximity to loads of great hikes.

This is our second time staying at Deb's place. Same as last time we were here, the place is clean and feels like our sweet home away from home. My son insisted that we returned to the apartment after learning that we would be doing spring skiing at Whiteface. It is conveniently located, which allows us to ski during the day, come back for a late lunch and rest a bit before heading out to catch the ECAC Men's Hockey final in Lake Placid at night. We look forward to spending more days at Deb's place in the near future.

Lindsey’s place was lovely. It was very clean and an easy walk to the main attractions. Worked very well for our family of 4.

We had three very nice nights! The apartment was bigger than we anticipated and very well appointed. It’s right on a busy corner, so we heard the snowplows during the night (lots of snow!!), but was otherwise peaceful with the sound of the river. Joe was very flexible with dates when we had to shift because of weather. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Ausgestattet mit einem bequemen King Size Bett und einem Twin Bett bietet das Schlafzimmer zudem genügend Stauraum. In der Wohnküche mit Fernseher befinden sich eine Mikrowelle, ein Kühlschrank, eine Espressokapselmaschine, sowie Geschirr und Besteck. Handtücher und Körperpflegeprodukte stehen im Bad bereit. Das schnelle Internet funktionierte einwandfrei und auf dem Grundstück befindet sich ein Autostellplatz. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und sicher. Restaurants, Supermärkte und Tankstellen befinden sich in der Umgebung. Mit meinem Aufenthalt bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann die Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Cherie!

This Airbnb exceeded our expectations! The space is much larger than it looks in the photos, and it’s beautifully furnished with everything we needed—from comfortable furniture to a fully stocked kitchen. The location is also fantastic, just a short distance from the ski resort, making it super convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

Great place with everything you need. We stayed here to go skiing twice now and it is so nice to be only about 15 minutes from the mountain. Host is very responsive and great to work with. Definitely will be back in the future!

Would definitely recommend for a visit to Lake Placid! It’s within walking distance of all of the good bars and restaurants on Main St. Very clean and spacious place and Taylor is a very kind and responsive host!

Wonderful hosts. We had am excellent stay. Apartment was cozy, homey and exactly as the photos and the description. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Would recommend to travelers and would stay again. This is our second stay at Patricia’s property.

We really enjoyed the house. It was very nice and peaceful. Christina was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The place is very aesthetically pleasing and cozy. I like the vintage feel to it. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting in upstate New York. The next time I visit the area I’m absolutely booking here again. The fall foliage was definitely a plus. Huge thanks to Christina we really appreciate it.

Such a beautiful private cabin. Walked around the two small ponds each morning. Perfect location to visit my niece at Paul Smiths. Comfy bed, tons of pillows, plenty warm (we had rain and snow while I was there). I wasn't able to enjoy the small deck because of the weather, but looking out the picture window all day while I remote worked was wonderful. Although Jillian said the wi-fi may not be the 'best', I had no issues with being on multiple TEAMS and Zoom meetings all day and using two laptops. She must have improved this feature. I also got to watch two movies on Netflix, thank you. Jillian, I will be recommending your little cabin to every one of my family members as they go visiting up in your area. It is leaps and bounds better than the last two places I stayed. Jackson is a little sweetheart, he came by each morning to say hello. Sully enjoyed it also. Thank you. Carol.

We enjoyed a quiet long weekend at Robert’s cabin on the lake. It was cozy during the rainy days, and perfect for sunny mornings on the dock. Great secluded location, a quick ride into town but we drove to Lake Placid most nights, which is just a 15m ride. Note there is a busy road across the lake, but it didn’t lessen our experience in any way. Would love to come back in summer when the lake is safe to kayak! Bed and linens were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

Highly Recommend! Very friendly and excellent hosts, the cabin was immaculately clean and instructions were easy to follow, checkout was a breeze. Rental was quite private too. Overall 10 out of 10 would definitely rent the cabin again.

It really is the most beautiful cabin! The stream is so very lovely and the hosts are so nice and friendly! The bed is super comfy and the little heater that is provided is perfect for cooler weather. The shower is just amazing. The whole place is so beautiful and the perfect spot to rest! Camp Timberock is a rare find. We chose the cabin because of the unlimited options for paddling and hiking. Despite the cold temperatures, we took advantage of the area and spent a lot of time exploring. One of my favorite parts of Timberock would be the deck with the outdoor fireplace. We also appreciated all of the supplies in the kitchen, the extra blankets and the endless supply of wood for the fire. Hope to return next year!

We love staying at this cabin when we visit Saranac Lake. It’s conveniently located near town and within a short drive to some of the best scenic routes in ADK. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and comfortable. It’s perfect for a long weekend. Kelsey is a great host and we enjoyed our stay once again!
