Casa do Cruzeiro provides accommodation in Lagoa, on the south coast of São Miguel Island, 10 km from Ponta Delgada and the airport. The property overlooks the sea and is within walking distance of natural pools. The 4 km are two of the most beautiful beaches of the Island (Populo and Milicias). The house consists of 2 double bedrooms, one with sea view and one bedroom with twin beds, also with sea view. A full bathroom, living room with TV and Wifi. Dining Room / Fully equipped kitchen. Country cottage in the northwest of S.Miguel, with views to the ocean, the mountains and the fields. An option for those who want to explore the main attractions of the western part of the island, but wish to stay off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE THERE`S A CAT living in the cottage (she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT) and it might not be suitable for those who are allergic or don't like cats. The cottage is relatively secluded in a rural environment with farms, animals and all that comes with it.

A converted stone watermill at the bottom of a small valley, between two waterfalls. Walking in, you half-expect to have stepped back a century. The sound doesn't stop—it follows you to sleep and is the first thing you hear in the morning. You leave the car on an old bridge above and walk down a short rustic path; below it, the property opens up. Two villages and a small market sit a hundred meters back, reminding you civilization is still out there—but down here you're in your own world.
