Over the years we had quiet a few holiday homes but this one is so special and was definitely one of the best we ever had! It starts with the private driveway to the house which makes you feel like queens and kings of ancient portugal. On the one hand the property is extremely quiet because there is nothing nearby except nature and a very small steeet, on the other hand you can walk in 20 minutes to Reriz, the village nearby that is very beautiful and has a wonderful little café and a very special riverbeach, where you can swim, hang out and have a beer. The house itselfe is really beautiful, very comfortable beds, and a kitchen with a astonishing panoramic view. Right next to the house is the wonderful saltwater pool with a terace that also offers a great panorama. And you can swim in the river on the property. PLUS Sherrin and Tony are the most friendly hosts you can imagine, especially friendly and understanding with our noisy kids - this makes you feel really at home as a family.

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Maria Helena, een superlieve dame. Ze heeft ons rondgeleid in de woning en diverse tips gegeven. We hebben genoten van de volle fruitmand op tafel en het heerlijke gebak wat een fijne verrassing was. Het is een huis met karakter en het is sfeervol ingericht. Er waren voldoende badhanddoeken en frisse lakens. De keuken was helemaal compleet, we hebben nergens op misgepakt. Ook buiten was het prima toeven. Een overdekt terras op het zuiden met een bbq waar we diverse malen gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Er is een wasmachine aanwezig en ook waslijnen en knijpers. Het dorpje was op loopafstand en er waren geregeld festiviteiten. Kortom we hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad en raden het van harte aan.

Beautiful and welcoming house. We enjoyed our stay but what stood out last was the warm welcome and delicious local delicacies that Sandra’s family had put out for us on arrival. Communication with the host was perfect during our stay and even offering our children visits to farm to feed the goats was very kind. The house is stunning a good mix of traditional and modern, plus you have everything you need. Thank you for having us.

The village of paradinha is a place that steals your mind. Swimming in the river, peaceful nights and great places to explore near by are the extras of this rental. The house was as described, particularly enjoyed the views from the small old windows. Thank you so much Olga!

Maison impeccable au delas de nos attentes, elle était encore mieux que sur les photos Maria et son mari étaient très accueillants et réactifs ils nous ont donnés bon nombres de recommandations pour visiter la région et nous sommes ravis d'avoir séjourner dans leur maison mobilier parfait, tout équipé et très bon emplacement nous reviendrons

We had the best stay at Márcias apartment. My best airbnb experience so far (and I had a lot). She was proactive and recommending us a lot of activities over there. The house was beautiful, relaxing in between the magic mountains was a wonderful experience. I can totally recommend for any person or group that wants to get into nature.

Apartamento muy bien ubicado y en una zona tranquila. Salón muy espacioso y camas cómodas. Tenía todo lo que podíamos necesitar tanto en la cocina, como en las habitaciones. A 10 minutos teníamos un supermercado y la estación de autobuses. La anfitriona super amable y muy atenta, un 10 para ella.
