The house is a fantastic base to visit the ancient cities of LaRaya Luso, marvel at the authentic Spanish and Portugese folklore, hike trough the surrounding wilderness and numerous megalithic remains and menhirs. Isabella - Refúgio Campestre em Marvão

Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. The modern studio accommodates a couple and a child with the comfort of country life. Let yourself be absorbed by this environment.

Mamede sierra natural Park , next to small village of Escusa, in a lovely valley between the must-see villages of Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Modern lodge in a week-end farm. Atravessado pelo rio Sever e uma ribeira que convida a banhos refrescantes pelas suas inúmeras quedas de água. Dispõe ainda de duas verdadeiras piscinas naturais, antigos tanques de rega reaproveitados.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
