Overall great experience and we would recommend! Alberto was very helpful and responsive, and Paula the housekeeper was also lovely and so helpful. Fantastic location with coffee shops, restaurants, and gorgeous beaches all within 5-10 minutes easy walking, but not right in the middle of the most touristy part of town-- perfect! Private carport for a small car, behind a locked gate-- very secure! (VNDM is super safe and friendly anyway, but having that private parking area was still nice.) The multiple terraces on this home are wonderful-- great views of the sun and sky. There was a big construction project happening behind the unit that we were not expecting, but the noise was not bad and the unit is quiet when windows closed. Home does not have a lot of the "little things" like spices, laundry soap etc so you'll need to purchase a few small items, but overall had all we needed and we had a great stay.

Beste Joost en Gini, bedankt voor de warme ontvangst, leuk om jullie verhaal te horen. Het huisje is gezellig, compleet uitgerust en we hebben er heerlijk geslapen met onze twee kinderen. We genoten van de prachtige ruime tuin en natuur om het huisje, en de kinderen waren blij met de schommel en trampoline. Ook erg genoten van het eten en de sfeer bij restaurant Nirvana op 15 min rijden, bedankt voor de tip. Helaas konden we maar 2 nachten blijven, hopelijk tot een volgende keer en dan blijven we graag langer! we hebben jullie ervaren als heel behulpzaam, gastvrij, open en gezellig! Bedankt voor alles! Nous avons adoré Vila Nova de Milfontes et l'appartement de Cristina est super bien placé : plusieurs plages et le centre du village accessibles à pieds, au calme, un parking juste à côté. L'appartement a une petite cours très agréable. Crisitina est extremement gentille et attentionnée, elle nous a bien accueillis et nous a donné des idees de sorties et des adresses. je recommande vivement l'appartement de Cristina et cette partie de l'Alentejo !

Um espaço muito agradável, extremamente bem decorado e com limpeza impecável. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo anfitrião, que se mostrou sempre disponível para ajudar. Apartamento bem localizado próximo do centro e das praias, com bom estacionamento na rua. Altamente recomendado!

Foram 10 dias muito bons. O Sr António e a Dona Ana são muito simpáticos e sempre prontos a ajudar. A casa corresponde às fotos e tem tudo o que precisamos para passar uns dias de descanso. A praia fica a uns 15 minutos a pé da casa e é maravilhosa 🥰 tem muitos restaurantes e mini mercados perto da casa. recomendo muito esta casa. espero repetir a experiência. obrigada Sr António e Dona Ana ☺️ cumprimentos

Met ons gezin heerlijke dagen in de Alentejo gehad. Prachtige omgeving! Alleen het geluid van schapen, vogels, paarden en honden. Licinia is een heel vriendelijke gastvrouw die je welkom heet. Ze heeft ook tips voor de omgeving. Prachtige stranden van de Alentejo. Een auto is een must! Wij hebben genoten!

A estadia foi incrível. O espaço é muito acolhedor, muito limpo e tem um toque especial onde se nota que os anfitriões colocaram muito amor e carinho. Sentimo-nos como se estivéssemos em casa e fomos muito bem recebidos durante toda a estadia. É um espaço tranquilo onde dá para descansar e com um espaço exterior encantador com o extra de ter amigos de 4 patas tão simpáticos quanto os anfitriões, que são pessoas incríveis. Está próximo de vários pontos interessantes para visitar. Na minha opinião foram dos anfitriões mais atenciosos e que merecem pontos extra além das 5 estrelas, pois também eles colocam uma dedicação extra demonstrada nos pequenos e grandes pormenores. Senhora Margarida e Senhor Pedro um até já. Voltaremos certamente um dia!

Nuestra estancia ha sido estupenda. Los anfitriones han estado muy pendientes de nuestras necesidades. La zona es muy tranquila, cosa que valoramos mucho. La casa era fresca y muy cómoda. El lugar es preciso, ideal para desconectar y descansar en familia. Sitios cercanos para comer bien y supermercados a unos minutos en coche. Playas cercanas. Naturaleza en vivo. Nos ha sorprendido todo gratamente. Esperamos repetir si las circunstancias nos lo permiten.

Beautiful quiet hillside area, very secluded and private, several houses but you don’t even notice other guests. Beaches of Sines and southern area are amazing. 30 minute drive. Lovely pool area and Bert and Marianne are very helpful, friendly and easygoing people. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Die Wohnung war alles in allem toll. Was uns etwas verwirrt hat, war, dass man auf den Fotos eine Spülmaschine gesehen hat (in der Beschreibung war keine Spülmaschine genannt, also alles korrekt!), die aber (noch) nicht angeschlossen war. Wie kochen gern, deswegen wäre für uns auch wichtig gewesen zu wissen, dass das Kochfeld nur 2 Platten hat. Es gibt aber eine Außenküche mit Grill. Die Wohnung ist ansonsten super ausgestattet und sehr modern und für uns ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Umgebung ist toll! An der Straße sollte man nicht dauerhaft parken. Wir wurden von der GNR weggeschickt. Es gibt aber 300m weiter große Parkplätze, also auch kein Problem.

Uma casa muito familiar, ideal para quem procura como experiência o acolhimento numa casa tradicional portuguesa, a privacidade é máxima a piscina perfeita para o calor que se faz sentir em pleno Alentejo, a vila é linda, felizmente com muita população residente o que faz com que se sinta num ambiente verdadeiro e amistoso, a beleza rural é incrível para quem como nós aprecia o campo, esta casa é “Visinha” desde o mercado com frutas e peixinho fresco, como farmácia, banco etc. O churrasco é muito útil, até porque o peixe e a carne são especialidades gastronómicas. Perto de praias lindíssimas entre Porto Covo e Sines. O anfitrião é muito acessível e ofereceu desde início todas as indicações necessárias para ter uma experiência perfeita.

Suuuper schöne Unterkunft! 10/10 Ausstattung, es war alles da. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin war sehr einfach und hilfreich. Würde es jed empfehlen!

Very pleasant stay, definitely a recommendation: my following comments are to clarify or recommendations. The road to Herdade is a dirt road (which I like): we tried 4-5 different routes to the accomodation and although you can not trust Google maps all the time you can see a lot more of the amazing landscape if you just try. The main suggestion we got from Google maps was one of the routes which isn't possible at all (due to the railroad) but there is a sign at the entrance. We had the accomodation in the main house which has limited outside space. The other apartments have comfortable lounge seats, this apartment has not. The pool is only shared with the owner and the two other apartments. Although large it is not deep: good to chill but not to have a swim. It is so large that it is difficult to clean: we had some algae growth in corners but the water is very clean so still **** from us. We would have loved some more information about the Herdade: You can see the cork oaks and pine tree but as a non-portugese it is difficult to understand what that means. Of course you can ask Google and Wikipedia to be your assistant but if you are at the source .... Perhaps some tips about local restaurants might be helpful: we did not ask Patricia which of course we could have done but found that everywhere we went was good or better. Cooking in the apartment is possible but the kitchen is small. Patricia told us at arrival that the guard dogs might be heard at night and she was right. Of our 8 days stay it bothered us perhaps one night but if you are a light sleeper it might bother you more. We loved the Rafeiro puppies by the way <3, we might have spoiled them a bit (cuddling with a potential guard dog might not be the best way for their education but hey). If you love nature and still want to be at a beach in under 30 minutes this is the place to be.
