Sandy River Sanctuary and Sauna

Treat yourself to the lower suite of our Sandy River home located just 2 miles from downtown Troutdale, OR. Our suite includes a sauna and an indoor soaking tub (not jetted.) We live above the suite and we have a toddler who is in daycare during the work hours and typically sleeps from 7pm to 7 am. There is a locked, sound absorbing accordian door. Yet, you may still be able to hear us from time to time. We are located on a scenic hwy minutes away from Edgefield and the Columbia River Gorge.

Welcome to this riverfront cabin with a brand new hot tub overlooking the beautiful Salmon River. While conveniently off hwy 26 and near Mt. Hood, you’ll feel immersed in nature with the sound of the river and the old growth trees. The cabin has been recently remodeled yet the charm and character of the existing structure remain. You will find lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay, while allowing the opportunity to unwind and relax. There is fast wifi (200 Mbps) if you need to stay connected.

Escape straight to the 70s in this woodsy retro cabin, a true gem perched in the trees in Rhododendron near Mt. Hood. Imagine relaxing in the hot tub under the stars listening to the seasonal stream babble below!

Treehouse in Stevenson, WA Columbia River Gorge

Aptly named the Osprey Treehouse because of the multiple Osprey that spent the summer hovering and watching us build this 20-foot octagon building around a single grand 42-inch old Douglas Fir. Oversized windows and a sliding door give you the feeling of being high up in the trees. Sleeps 2 adults. For safety reasons, we do not allow pets or children younger than 12. The entrance is level and parking close. The cleaning fee is $50 and applicable taxes are already added to your bill.

Venture across the deck and have your coffee on a big rock by the river. Play on Mt. Hood, explore the shops in town, or just watch the Sandy roll by from the cozy sofa. Relax in the hot tub overlooking the river. Sit by the fireplace with your pup. Start a movie on the projector in the bunk room. Wake up to the river view from the king size bed upstairs or downstairs sunroom. Repeat. Just under an hour from Portland, 35 mins to Timberline, 10 mins to Mt Hood National Forest.

Escape to the Happy Fox Cabin in Rhododendron, Oregon at the base of Mt Hood in PNW! Near Government Camp and only 45 minutes from Portland airport. A fully equipped cabin with high end amenities. Unwind outside to the sounds of a running creek, or gather around the fire pit. Hike or bike on hundreds of nearby trails, ski at Timberline, Skibowl or Meadows or paddleboard and kayak at Trillium Lake. Plenty of amazing local restaurants and conveniences!

Great if you get to work from home. You have your own Wi-Fi land-line telephone. Once your work day is over you can enjoy what the Columbia Gorge has to offer. EV charging is available.
