Had a great stay with Bart! Great guy, I’d strongly suggest spending some time with him, and take part in some of his side work. I went to several festivals with him selling flavored ice, awesome to experience the different cultures, from a Mennonite rodeo, to a tilapia festival in creole country, couple La Ruda Maya events! Great eggs, something about the frying pan, but boy were they good. Nothing special about the rental, simple, but very entertaining watching the wildlife, and chickens on the back deck, watch your roommates fly out of the eaves, and comeback in the morning! Take buddy for a walk every morning, but watch Rexy, he’ll try and give you a smooch! I loved my stay there, and would definitely do it again, but you gotta be an outdoor camping type! You’re not at the Hilton! Barb was in the states, so I didn’t personally see her long, but she always returns text, and checks in on you regularly. Quiet, and comfortable for my type of person! Enjoy, and relax!!

Very nice buildings with cathedral wood ceilings. The master bedroom is huge. I didn't get to stay very long, I was traveling with teenagers. They had other plans for their vacation so I had to bring them to a place to shop. The grounds are so well cared for, there are blooming trees and shrubs everywhere. I made the mistake of traveling there in the dark and rain, try to avoid that, like they advise. The girls in the restaurant were good but try to bring some of your own supplies. Enjoy

Naz was a great host. He was friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and where to get things in Orange walk. I will definitely stay there again.

We Arrived as Strangers and Left as Family! From the moment we stepped through the doors, this vacation rental captured our hearts. We spent our mornings on the patio, sipping coffee with stunning views of Corozal Bay, and our evenings on the upper deck, marveling at the breathtaking sunsets and star-filled skies. The pool and screened room quickly became our favorite places to relax and connect. What truly made this experience unforgettable were the hosts, Dr. Michael and Shelley. Their warmth, care, and genuine kindness made us feel more like family than guests. This was hands-down one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had, and we’re already planning our return. If you’re searching for a slice of paradise, look no further—this place is a true gem!

Tuvimos la mejor de las experiencias en Horse Cottage! Es un lugar en el medio de la naturaleza pero con todo el confort! Todo está pensando, hasta el último detalle! Las habitaciones son enormes y cómodas, las camas y la ropa de cama es excelente. Todo está impecable. Hay agua purificada, pava eléctrica, microondas y heladera! Además hay una cocina/comedor de uso común súper bien equipada con licuadora, tostadora, cocina, utensilios de cocina! Un lujo! Y lo mejor es la atención de Nathalie siempre pendiente de todo, y Johana también, súper simpáticas y te hacen sentir en tu casa! Y la frutilla de la torta es su perrita Coca y las dos yeguas que andan por el jardín y te dan mucho afecto!!! Sin dudas, súper súper súper recomendado!!!

I hate to share just how much I love this place because I don't want to compete for booking it when I want to go back!! What a peaceful yet connected place - right by an amazing swimming area called Mangrove Park. In town and able to access grocers, cafes, butcher etc. And you WILL want to cook and enjoy the screened in verandah and yard! MAGIC! I already miss Losita and Blossom (the doggy).

Es war sehr schön und ruhig an der Unterkunft . Aniver hat uns super freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen und uns bei allen Fragen geholfen! Wir haben auch die Tour nach Lamanai gemacht, welche wir auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe von 6 Leuten und Wladimir war ein toller Tourguide! Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Honestly, The house location was great, close to stores and the sea. The yard had enough space for so much fun events. the house space was great and cool. I was very satisfied with the house.
