The moment we entered the Casa, we knew this place was extra special. We were greeted with a hand written note welcoming us in addition to one of the most beautiful cakes we have ever eaten. The property was private while at the same time hidden within Criollo's restaurant grounds, so eating at the restaurant was just a few steps outside our door. The Casa pictures do not do this property justice. And there's snacks, waters, towels thoughtfully and strategically placed where you need it. The steam shower was absolute bliss, and the courtyard plunge pool and hammock was a nice area to hideaway and decompress.

Tuvimos una estancia muy cómoda y placentera. Nos sentimos como en casa todo el tiempo. Los anfitriones nos atendieron de maravilla, siempre muy amables y cordiales. Se encuentra bien ubicado a unos 10-15 min del centro en automóvil.

Fue exactamente igual a las fotos, estaba impresionante. El lugar fue divertido cómodo amplio, tenía detalles como la calidad del jabón y todo equipado para la estancia, muy divertido y la anfitriona siempre estuvo pendiente resolviendo mis preguntas

Gigi is such a great host. She would respond within minutes. Whether ordering a taxi or finding a place to eat or time of attraction. The place is awesome to relax and swim and has everything you need for your stay. We would stay again if we are ever back in Oaxaca. Thanks Gigi

Excelente casa, Hermosa en todo sentido y en perfecto estado Es ENORME nuestro viaje fue de 8 personas y nos sobraba espacio Las camas super cómodas y deliciosas. En Oaxaca hace frio en invierno y los edredones que tienen las camas cubren deliciosamente, así es que no sientes el frio cuando estas acostado El jacuzzi 1 delicia. El espacio exterior (jardín) es hermoso, la piscina no la usamos debido a que era invierno y preferimos ir al centro a caminar La cocina y demás habitaciones comunes en perfecto estado, muy bonito el mobiliario, además de cómodo El Garage perfecto para 2 o +coches La atención de Lorena es Espectacular, instrucciones precisas, concretas, claras. Súper adaptable, le pedimos ciertas cosas y con una gran disposición nos las concedió Tiene hojas con recomendaciones de restaurantes y sitios de interés en Oaxaca Sabíamos que estaba retirada del centro y al llevar coche eso no es un problema Pensamos regresar a Oaxaca y nos quedaremos en esta misma casa Mil Gracias

This home was just fantastic!! You enter through a private gate into this STUNNING garden area with a wonderful pool (our kids swam every day), outdoor shower, lush plantings, outdoor covered living area, hammocks, etc. You'd never know how close you are to all the city action! It's so peaceful in the yard. The bedrooms were all air-conditioned which was great for sleeping. The place was very clean and well-laid out. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. Then tucked just next door (also opens up to the garden area) is an adorable studio apartment with another bedroom/bathroom. Great if you are traveling with older kids, in-laws, babysitter, etc. The street this apartment is on is quiet and peaceful, and very close to a few different lovely parks, including El Llano park which my kids (9 & 7) LOVED.. you can rent scooters and little electric mini cars in the evenings. 1We will stay here again on our next visit!! Also- the hosts were SUPER responsive!!

el lugar es tranquilo y cómodo realmente a 20 min del centro de Oaxaca, solo son 100 metros de terracería antes de llegar pero un sedan pasa sin problema la casa es muy grande y alberca privada.

Property is great for families, super walkable to shops and restaurants, and the hosts are responsive.

Siempre tuve buena comunicación con Marina, me dio muchas recomendaciones de que hacer y donde comer y sus respuestas fueron rápidas. La casa muy limpia, grande, iluminada, todo en orden, cuenta con todo lo necesario para la estadía. Las camas muy cómodas, cocina muy completa, todas las ventanas tienen mosquitero. Sin duda reservaré de nuevo en futuras ocasiones.

El lugar es muy bonito y rústico, ideal si quieres para disfrutar de Oaxaca ya que el centro y los puntos de encuentro de los tours quedan como máximo a 10 minutos caminando, justo enfrente hay una tienda para comprar cosas y a una cuadra hay puestos de comida y unos bares, la ubicación es increíble, el cuarto igual y es muy espacioso, ideal para ir en pareja. La anfitriona muy buena persona, nos explicó todo y está muy al pendiente, definitivamente un excelente lugar.

Beautiful home with great indoor/outdoor living. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great location for walking to shops, restaurants, and Oaxaca attractions. A bit loud at times. It was not the fault of the Airbnb, but one evening a nearby alarm sounded from 2am til 9am and it was horribly loud. Because of the open roof, sound seemed to travel right in. Cleaning services were great. Beware that there is a neighborhood cat who likes to stop by and there were lizards on the ceilings most evenings. Wonderful, friendly accommodating hosts. Really loved this beautiful home and the courtyard atrium.

Una casa muy bonita y cómoda, muy segura ubicada en una zona tranquila con todos los servicios que ofrece, muy cerca de tiendas de auto servicio, y a 15 minutos del centro de la ciudad en auto.

Stunning property. We spent two weeks at Barbara’s place and really enjoyed it. The pictures really don’t do it justice. We loved hanging out in the beautiful screened in pergola with our coffee or wine. I even did some remote work out there. It does take 25-30 minutes to drive into Oaxaca city. Jhonny the caretaker is a doll and available for anything you need.

Travelled with my husband and 7mo baby. We booked this place super last minute as a second AirBnb unit while in Oaxaca because our first space did not work out for our baby. The house is spacious, clean, looked exactly like the photos. It actually had 3 bedrooms, one smaller room with an ensuite bathroom on the third floor. The rooftop patio was beautiful and shaded- we spent most of our afternoons there instead of walking around because of our baby. The unit also had drinking water spout which a lot of Mexican airbnbs don’t have. Location was fantastic, in Centro but also felt private. The best thing about this Airbnb was the host, olivia. She’s absolutely stellar; responded within the hour, incredibly helpful with recommendations and service. We got our drinking water jug replaced within a day, she organized us a taxi to the airport- just incredible. A/C in bedrooms were a saving grace. Only complaint is pesky neighbouring dogs that barked at night. Also included crib and baby tub!

Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home.There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

La casa está muy bonita, el vecindario es muy tranquilo y caminando al centro hicimos aprox 30 min, un camino muy agradable. Hay servicios cerca y la limpieza excelente. Diana es muy amable y atenta a lo que necesites, sin duda la recomiendo y regresaría en otra ocasión

It's a solid 5 stars mostly because of Roberto and his family. They helped us in so many ways, whether it is arranging drop-off or pick-up at the airport or helping us extensively when my friend got taken into the hospital. All the problems we had (like loss of internet), he was very quick to help. The house is very pretty and big, beds very confortable but also had a few problems (voltage drops, leaks that triggers the pump frequently, dogs barking at night, occasional smell in the bathroom) that might be a concern if you work remote but I imagine perfectly fine if you're on holidays. All in all, many thanks Roberto!

This place and the family that built and runs it are gems! The property is gorgeous and so close to many things that we wanted to see. We were two female travelers with two kids under two years old and it provided an excellent home base. The patio and space was perfectly set up for our needs to allow kids to roam and sleep. We also hired Fabian to drive us around and can’t speak more highly about him and his support. He is Mexican-American and absolutely fluent in both languages, loved playing with our girls and taught us so much about his home state and the building of this beautiful space by his entire family. I can’t speak more highly of the whole experience. We were so lucky to get to stay here!

Linda casa, muy buena ubicacion a 5 mns del aeropuerto, y sobre todo, los dueños de casa muy amables.

Fue una estancia muy agradable la Sra Alejandra estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros desde antes de nuestra llegada, todo fue excelente sin dudarlo volvería a hospedarme aquí.
