Salt Pond Farmhouse

Salt Pond Farmhouse is a charmingly preserved 1813 three-bedroom cape, on the Blue Hill Peninsula, about half way between Blue Hill and Deer Isle, and an hour or so from beautiful Acadia National Park. The house overlooks scenic Salt Pond, and there is a path to the pond side, where small boats may be launched from the grassy shore when the tide is in. The Blue Hill Peninsula offers many activities, including sightseeing, art galleries, water sports, hiking, biking, birding, dining, and more.

Piney Home

Our cabin is close to Blue Hill, a ten minute drive. Its a very quiet and secluded spot right on the edge of the Salt Pond. There is usually a very pleasant afternoon ocean breeze. The bird life is amazing. Blue Hill is close to both Acadia National Park and Deer Isle. Blue Hill has restaurants, live theatre, art galleries and a chamber music festival. There are 2 kayaks and a rowing dingy available to use if you first sign the liability waiver. There is a swim dock with a ladder.

A tiny guest house (450 sq ft) overlooking the Benjamin River. AC!!. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your private porch. Living area has a smart tv (no cable, but internet available to access your streaming account). DVD's also available. Kitchenette comes with Keurig with k-cups included, mini fridge, coffee maker/filters, toaster oven, microwave, 2 burner hot plate (no oven), dishes/pots and pans. There is a loft with an army cot. Not suitable for children under age 5.
