The Barge was built in 1999 and was our family home for 10 years in Sallins. It is easy to get to by car, and by train it's only 30 minutes from Dublin city centre. Everything you need is very close, within walking distance. Breakfast cafe, pub, barge trips, fine dining and gastropub restaurants, grocery store, walking trails, and the train station is a four minute walk. O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. You’ll treasure your time at this memorable place located 2.5 km from the centre of Naas town and 2km to the train station where trains frequently run to Dublin city centre (15-30 minutes depending on the service used) Convenient to the N7 with the Red Cow Roundabout 15 minutes drive away and Dublin Airport approximately 40 minutes. Enjoy a trip to the prestige Kildare village which is also approximately a 20 min drive from the property. Property is cleaned every 3 days for longer stays.

All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms.
