My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

Great place overall! The unit itself is roomy, recent and clean. The location couldn’t be better; on The Gap, but not right in the bars section so it was quiet at night but you just had to walk 5 minutes to get to the action. Great host and his co-hosts were great as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and will be looking to come back with our daughters!

We enjoyed the stay at Leslee Ann’s. The beds were comfy and the area quiet. The space was clean and well appointed. The washer and dryer were clutch. We rented a car and it was a great location in a quieter section of the island but always felt safe. We would recommend to anyone.

This is a perfect place to stay , zeema and Paul were very helpful and really nice people , the location is walking distance from Dover beach literally 10 steps , many restaurants walkable around the area , st Lawrence is walking distance as well where the bar areas are and more food it’s about a 10 min walk I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again . Paul was even nice to offer me a couple rides when he was free but I was unfortunately on the beach ! Would stay here again ! And definitely worth the money

Chris was a great host, very welcoming and responsive throughout our stay and was kind enough to accommodate our request on the last day. Place is exactly as per the photos, clean+had all the necessary items to make it a comfortable stay. We loved the fact that, although we were six adults, the space never felt small — loved the 2 bathrooms, and 2 separate showers + each room had a little en-suite vibe (working sink + mirror). The patio was spacious: the best hangout spot. Beautiful stretch of beach: very peaceful. Beach chairs were useful but very old, and some broken. The only downside of our stay, was that the six of us got eaten alive by the amount of mosquitoes/sand flies/no see-ums (not quite sure what it was) but in my 12 years of coming to Barbados (always around the same time) never had so many bites. No mosquito nets in the home. Reco: Highly recommend using mosquito repellent to avoid the pain. Overall would recommend this space for a great stay!

What a fabulous apartment this is! The photographs do not do the property full justice. Possibly the best position within Port St Charles, overlooking the marina, the island swimming pool and bar and out to the sea. The pool, surrounded by the most comfortable sunbeds, is a great alternative to the beach, and a simple stroll from the apartment. Water taxi available during daytime to take you to the beach or to the main bar/restaurant. There is lift access to the apartment. Each room is very spacious, light and tastefully decorated. All well equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans and very clean. The terrace spans the width of the property making a large area to enjoy the cooling breezes day and night. Karen, the owner, was so very helpful and easy to communicate with. The managing agents are local and highly professional. We would not hesitate to return.

Excellent facilities, very well thought through. Couple of minutes walk into Speightown centre with good restaurants, bars and shopping. Beautiful pool and beach.

Lisa was friendly and very helpful from the point of initial contact and throughout our stay. Apartment is in a beautiful location. Although Port St Charles is a sizeable marina, it always felt private and was peaceful. All staff onsite were professional, friendly and helpful. Complimentary water taxi service was very much appreciated, between apartment to beach, pool and restaurant areas. Saying that all were within walking distance too. Both of Lisa's housekeeping ladies were friendly and did a superb job. Would certainly recommend this property.

There are no words to describe the beautiful view and great beach access. Front row seats to beautiful sunsets everynight. The beach is clean and the water is warm, clear..perfect amount of waves..no rocks or seaweed in the way. The fish swim right up to you! Bed is comfy. The bus stop is right out front or a car is needed to get to the city. Perfect cozy accommodations.. My husband and I can't wait to return.

Our favourite place to be in the world! Amazing staff, helpful, friendly and treat us like family from the time we arrived until check out. I firmly believe there is no better spot on Barbados than this beautiful home. We had stayed at Port St Charles before but this unit being right on the ocean has it all. A view of the ocean a view or the marina and with all the doors opened up, the wonderful breeze blowing right through, day or night, yet A/C in the bedroom on hot nights. Every morning we woke and thought how could we be so blessed to be here, watching the turtles just off the beach and listening to the gentle waves.. Being just after the hurricane, and with a few silly mistakes of our own, there were things to clarify and a few items to work through and when we reached out everything was handled beautifully, in a friendly and timely manner. We could not have been more pleased. The unit is wonderfully appointed - kettle yay!! - and we felt so welcome there. Great restaurants nearby many of which will pick you up. The beach is seconds away but shaded pools offer a break from the sun. We’ll be back.

We really loved our stay here. The apartment is fully equipped with absolutely everything you would need and more. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all fitted out to the highest standard. It was ideally located for us with a 5 minute walk to Mullins beach and local bars/restaurants. A 10 minute stroll into Speightstown and a 15 drive/bus into Holetown. We would definitely recommend and will definitely return

We loved our stay at White Sands. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for us, not too touristy, with a beautiful quiet beach just across the road. Amazing sunsets! It's a great base for exploring the rest of the island. There are so many good food spots within a 5 min walk... * Caboose - best fish cutters * Baia - expensive but incredible views and good food * Fishermans - very reasonable local cuisine, canteen style * Orange Street Grocer - great for breakfast * PRC Bakery And a short drive away is The Fish Pot which is incredible. We will 100% be staying again when we visit Barbados in the future.

Perfect - the location is the best on the island. We had everything we needed and Claudette was on hand to help. We highly recommend!!

Location is great in terms of amenities- Rubis just opposite; next to local bus stop; short walks to either mullins beach & the great house beach at the other end. Speightstown is only a short bus ride away, with the lovely PRC bakery, The Caboose and Heywood beach which were all great. The property itself was spacious and as described- we especially appreciated the large back patio- have most of our meals overlooking the beautiful sea view & sunsets! Equally we really appreciated the amenities Ana has to offer- the washing machine & dryer; the floaties, life jackets and snorkelling gear etc. I’m going to put a few things here which I think might be helpful We are a small family- mum, dad and toddler (3): - The traffic outside is REALLY loud- often late eve. Large vehicles drive by- whole house shakes- v busy road/watch child! - very rocky at the base of the back steps- we didn’t swim directly from here - no AC in the main living space- so hot! -pick up app- unreliable in location

My third stay at sunset sands says it all really! Excellently located close to several beaches and many local bars & restaurants the accommodation is well laid out, has great WiFi & aircon, super large comfy bed and everything you might need for your stay. Most importantly, your experience is enhanced by friendly and supportive staff right from first communication through to looking after you during your stay. I’d like to especially thank Alysia and Margaret once again for helping ensure my holiday was hassle free & ran as smoothly as possible.

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

You couldn’t pick a better beautiful location. The hosts were very responsive to all my queries. The lady that looked over the house, Claudette, was truly amazing, very friendly, full of knowledge of local places to eat and kept the outside of the house pristine. Olivia, who owns the house, was also amazing, very friendly and full of local history and had lots of great stories about the area and the island. Totally relaxing house and beach, great reef just outside the back door where turtles are everyday.

Location location location! A very large, two level condo in the center of Speightstown. Beautiful view of the ocean from the large balcony and of the nesting mourning doves in the very tall coconut tree! Steps to Orange Street Grocer (cash only!!) Local and Co and Baia. We tried all three and were very impressed. Local and Co is in a very cool 17th century, restored building with a wall of coral stone. Stunning renovation. Two minute walk to Jordan's Market and 10-15 minutes by bus/car/taxi to Clifton Market at Lime Grove and Masseys for groceries. Two minute walk to beautiful Heywoods Beach. One of the fabulous west coast beaches which are all public to the high tide line!
