Close to the corner with Fillipou str.near the Kamara and the Rotunda. Avoid rush hours as it can be crowded and the service can be very slow, good times are usually 16.00-19.00. The menu is based on fish and seafood.

Close to the port area, two streets above Tsimiski, also hidden in a small street. Small restaurant with very good, sophisticated food and nice atmosphere.It's probably a good idea to make a reservation as it gets full very easily

Almost opposite to Kamara. Standard Greek cuisine. Usually has fresh fish every day. If you have trouble ordering fish, trust them in bringing you what they think it's best.

This street is the continuation of Tsimiski. This is my favorite souvlaki (Σουβλάκι - Skewer). Fast food place in the city. Try the pork souvlaki or the bifteki (μπιφτέκι - A grilled burger), either in a sandwich or order some on plate and eat there. In my opinion, this is a must.

Corner Tsimiski and Aristotle square.This is a high quality patisserie, one of the best in town, whick is famous for its Tsoureki (Τσουρέκι), a type of sweet bread (they also do versions with toppings etc). All sweets they offer are very good.
