Essentials

Jelsa is a quaint fishing village with loads of history and charm. They love life, relaxing and socializing. The quiet, picturesque town is lively at night during the summer months with plenty of concerts and events going on. The beaches are plentiful and uncrowded. We love the plentiful organic fruits and vegetables at the markets and fresh baked breads and pastries every morning. The seafood and wine are some of the best. Day trips are easy and fun with so many places to explore on the island by foot, boat, car, or bicycle! The town is truly family-orientated and a great place for children with many activities for them with a small park along the riva.
