The public swimming pool at Sundhöll Reykjavíkur is one of the corner stones of modern Reykjavík, built in 1937 making it the oldest swimming pool in the city. The perfect place to begin the day or relax during the day or evening. It features a classic indoor swimming pool, a newly opened outdoor pool, a few large hot tubs, a sauna, as well as great shower facilities. The pools are heated up with geothermal energy. Open on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and on weekends from 8:00 AM to 10 PM. Entrance is only 980 kr. for a single visit ( about €8 / $9), or 4600 kr. for a 10 visit pass (about €37 / $45).
