The fried chicken is what they are best known for. The smothered pork chop is also stellar. Their jazz brunch is legendary. In addition to wonderful food though, their employees are so charming!

It's a cash-only establishment but it's legendary here in Pensacola for their burgers (although no cheese on the burgers).

Can you come to Pensacola and not visit the spot that even Emeril insures that he visits each time he's in the area? South Market is highly recommended. Their meatloaf has won awards in the Pensacola area.

World famous FloraBama offers a variety of music acts every single day. My personal favorite is catching the Dueling Pianos on Thursday nights; however, world famous acts have performed and sang about the Bama (to include Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chestney, etc.
You should try a Bushwacker if you go here. It's a local drink that tastes like an adult chocolate milkshake but as a warning, it has six different types of rum in it but doesn't taste like it does so it'll creep up on you quickly.

Johnson's Beach is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. It doesn't get a lot of tourists to it and it's a beautiful spot.

Lots of pavilions, low entrance fee, gorgeous views of the Gulf, restroom facilities on site, and it's close to the Perdido Key Visitor's Center with their 400 gallon pirate themed fish tank from the TV show Tanked.

You can see a variety of true Florida backgrounds at Big Lagoon. There are nature trails, beaches, playground sets, an observation tower, and many other items available to see at Big Lagoon.

Come visit the spot where Geronimo was held. There are amazing beaches, an awesome fort which you can do a self-guided tour of or an actual guided tour, there is a museum onsite as well.
Ft Pickens is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore so the admission cost / receipt is good for admission for a period of seven days to the other parts in the group; therefore, a visit to Johnson's Beach which is nearby to the house could be arranged along with one to Ft Pickens for the same cost.
I'd recommend eating at Peg Leg Petes if you visit Pensacola Beach / Ft Pickens. The toll is $1 cash to get onto the beach, unless you have a Sunpass and you can check in for the wait at Peg Leg Petes prior to your arrival on Yelp. This has saved us a TON of time!
