I can say with confidence that their roti canai is really pretty damn good. Its super crispy and delicious . Just 5 min walking from your place. Must try.

Very touristy. Bargain hard and best place to pick up mementos including pashminas, Malaysian's products and souvenirs. Something for the whole family in there guaranteed.

Essentials
Great place to visit to see a genuine market in operation. Huge variety of fish, meat and fruit and vegetables. It's all locals here buying except for the odd curious tourist. It's a wet market so there's a lot of dirt and waste all over the floor so watch where you're walking. Some of the meat stalls may surprise including cattle heads prominently displayed along with all the rest of the animal putting up a powerful stink. No open shoes and simple clothing are the good tips.

The place is open and maintained with a lush green grass. It feels good to have the view. On one side the old buildings built by the British and the other sides very impressive modern buildings. Good photography in this historic area. If you are interested in history, it can prove a rich source of information.

Its a modern night life you can find in this area, a lots of domestic and international visitor, coffee shop open 24hrs and some music sport in every block from the western music up to Indian or Arabic music! Juice stall and street food easily to find, Asian, Indian, and Arabic food are available! Plenty of things that are within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants, clubs etc. This area has it all. Highly recommended.
