Canyon Lake is a beautiful 30 min drive. The lake is beautiful with large magnificant views of canyon walls & Mountain sheep can be seen on the steep canyon cliffs.
Take the Dolly Steamboat sightseeing cruise & have a sunset dinner while touring the lake & views.

Sedona... the most spectacular drive you could ever imagine of Red Rocks, view scenic Oak Creek Canyon! Take a 4 wheel drive tour up the mountain with magnificent views & wildlife. Take the spiritual journey that is a tree huggers dream with hot lodges, energy work, essential oils, crystals & enjoy the great unique shops, candy stores, restaurants, great food. Head to Oak Creek Canyon & Slide rock & if its summer slide down the rock. The drive is breath taking! Be prepared to see wild javelin,deer, elk, hawks, rabbits, fox , coyotes, snakes bald eagles but always The Az Sunsets!! The Javelina Mexican restaurant & BBQ joints are great, head for some old fashion fudge, spa's & relaxation!

Book a bus & inner tube & the bus will drop you off at the top of the river & pick you up after you have floated down the river to cystal clear waters & magnificent views of the canyon. Just feel peace, relaxation & enjoy the healing smells of the desert. Chaparral is the plant that is recognized as "the smell of the Arizona desert" whenever it rains is magical & healing! & the smell is wonderful! This is a Great drive even if you don't want to tube. Keep going to Saguaro lake for more great views. The whole drive is gorgeous!

This is a really fun day trip to the city know for the worlds oldest rodeo, famous Whisky Row, arts, crafts, entertainment, music & great restaurants. It is a laid back old time feeling with friendly wonderful people who love their town, town square, lakes, parks, hiking, great weather, change of seasons. They are know for their wild 4th of July weekends with kiddie parades, town parades, art shows, street dancing, music festivals. This town is filled with 'art, music, dancing, great food and a laid back atmosphere. My fav Mexican restaurant is Taco Don's!

Mesa Arts center is located in down town Mesa, It always has plays, concerts, musicals, art shows or something going on. If you don't want that then go there for your family vacation pictures! So many amazing places to take photos.
