We are the wine region of Marlborough and have some amazing vineyards very famous ones and some exclusive ones but the wine and restarants are world class. we also have scenery that's is very special in the sounds, also where you can wine and dine.Lochmara, Bay of Many Coves Punga Resort, Furneux Lodge. We also have a world class walking track which can take a week or one day, this also leads onto restaurants and relaxation.

We built this wee bar 13 years ago and sold it three years ago it has enteraintment good food and wonderful hosts who make you feel very welcome and has a good selection of drinks.

Picton has lots of Bars and restaurants to choose from and I have to say they are all unigue in there own way depending on what you are looking for we can point you to the bar or restaurant you want wether you want romantic or entertainment eating with a view, or just quiet and peaceful we can recommend them all.We even have a movie theatre.

Picton has lots of Bars and restaurants to choose from and I have to say they are all unigue in there own way depending on what you are looking for we can point you to the bar or restaurant you want wether you want romantic or entertainment eating with a view, or just quiet and peaceful we can recommend them all.We even have a movie theatre.
Parks & Nature
To take a day trip around the sounds on the mailboat just to see the sea life and where people have settled also to feed the fish in areas where they are protected from fishing.Look at the salmon farm and view the seals and usually the dolphins.

Amazing view from the top of this walk, a good walk if you need exercise take a picnic lunch and just sit at the top and listen to the birds and reflect on how peaceful it is and what stunning views are at the top there is a seat just for to stop and rest before you come down again.

If it is history your looking for then this is the place nice wee walk about thirty minutes each way, on the way through the walk it takes you past some of our local history Moari foods pits and a lookout that once again has stunning views. Sometimes we have seen pods of Dolphins just down below the walk looking into the sounds and its very exciting just to sit and watch them. Also a great place just to watch the boating traffic and watch the Ferry coming in. Once again great place for stunning view and peace and quiet,make sure your camera is handy.
