Marx has good bagels with good ingredients. Good for a snack or meal anytime. Lox with cream cheese is good. Egg salad is good. Catch Marx there for a good conversation if you don't get on his nerves, then he might blow up on you. Still fun. About 15 minutes from the house.

Top of the Park is a rooftop bar atop the Residence Inn. The views are very cool, it generally crowded and the drinks are expensive but worth it because of the view. The ambiance is exceptional.
