Our favorite seafood restaurant close by. Bob loves the arroz con camarones (rice with shrimp) and Monika loves the sopa de mariscos caribena with a side order of rice (coconut milk seafood soup with a hint of spicy). We both love the ceviche mixto and often make it a take out. They also deliver!

This restaurant is another option to explore. We only had coffee and a pastry there once and it was fine.

Parks & Nature
If you like hiking and have your own transportation, visiting this park is a great way to spend the day in our area. Drive up to it as close as possible and walk into the park. park fees are very affordable. Spectacular flora and fauna. Make sure you take a picture with your head poking through the giant leafs that line the walking paths. Have fun!

Home of the BIG HEAD traditional masks makers, one can see these at street corners. The central park hosts many local artists sculptures. An interesting place to hang out and people watch, or maybe shake your booty on Sundays when local bands play at the kiosk.

Heredia Center has a nice park to hang out and people watch, while enjoying some rich POPS ice cream. Easy to meet people there.
