You can either love it or hate is, as it is very rustic, with tables close together, in a loud chaotic atmosphere, but they have a wood burning oven for great pizza, home style dishes of pasta and Roman main courses, and most of all very good prices. The ravioli with ricotta cheese and spinach are my favorite here. Also try amatriciana, bruschetta and the specials of the day. Closed Wednesdays.

this local restaurant offers typical roman dishes as well as some tuscan specialties and pizza in a wood burning oven. It is casual, but nice, and the food is good and reasonably priced considered you are in a very central area. It's a short walk from the apartment

Also pasta with mushrooms, pumpkin, truffle or other seasonal options. Main dishes like stuffed pork chop and stewed beef in wine sauce with mashed potatoes. Located between Barberini square and Trevi Fountain. Best to book!
