Cash only, lines out the door, but they move fast. Park on Mcferrin past Cleveland St on the hill if you can't find closer parking. My favorites are the chicken tortilla soup, pineapple cilantro drink, and any of the tacos.

Best breakfast/brunch in East Nashville. Try the bread basket. Menu changes all the time, but it's always good. Parking can be difficult but their is a paid lot across the street. Weekdays are best.

This is our favorite restaurant in Nashville. They have great food, pricey but reasonable for the quality (portion sizes are not large), and amazing service. Get a reservation before going.

New place serving fresh pasta. It's mostly a place for take out, but they do have some bar seating inside. They are also open late night, with a different late night menu. Pick up some food and enjoy it on the upstairs deck at home. I loved the spinach pasta with marinara sauce and sausage.

Excellent southern food. It's all you can eat, seated at a community table where you pass the dishes around. The food is amazing but very very heavy. I like the ribs, turnip greens, and friend chicken.
