It’s hard to recommend just one place when talking of Central London but I think if I had to give anyone one place to sit and enjoy a drink it would be here. First reason, to get here you would have to walk from Waterloo station across Waterloo Bridge from where you will get some of the best views of London with photo opportunities of both the City , St Paul’s and the opposite way towards Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament . The bar is an old traditional wine bar situated next to the Embankment Gardens where you can enjoy a wide choice of wines sitting either inside in the cavernous wine cellar bars or outside in the sheltered heated seating area. Ideal stop off for pre theatre as it’s so close also to Covent Garden

In addition and in contrast to Bushy and Richmond Parks we are lucky enough to have Kew Gardens on our doorstep also. If you wish to visit Kew whilst you’re here please let me know in advance as I can help you with booking tickets, it’s a trip not to be missed whether you are a garden fanatic or just want a pleasant place to spend a few hours.
