Duthie park has recently been renovated back to its original Victorian design. The park offers a cafe, exotic 'winter gardens' and a boating pond. It's a 20 minute walk from the city centre and is also the starting point of the Royal Deeside cycle path.

The Torry Battery overlooks the city and used to be home to the military in both the world wars. It is now empty and offers some of the best views of the city. Dolphins can often be seen in this area.

The cathedral has an extensive history and is worth seeing, it is open to the public during the day. It has been said that part of William Wallace is buried in the wall as a reminder to the Scots after his death in 1305.
