This deli never disappoints. But deli is a little bit of a misnomer. It is a full-on restaurant. Everything we have ever tried here is fabulous! The chef, Marcel, is from Bolivia and his dishes are always a nod to that part of the world. Seriously, everything is superb, but if you go for lunch ask if they have saltenas, an authentic, Bolivian hand-held meat pie that is definitely worth trying. And don't even get us started on their Brazilian lemonade! Delish!

The food is delicious! Authentic Indian food. Try the Rogan Josh, and don't pass up the best butter chicken in Idaho!

This is a recent addition to the downtown scene and we love it! It is the perfect place to go as a family in the morning. Our boys love browsing the pastry displays and the bagels are super yummy! They also have a great selection of coffee and hot chocolates.

This is a great riverside trail that winds through downtown and south along the banks of the river with great views of the falls. The path is readily accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability.

You'll be shocked to know that this park used to be a landfill. You'd never be able to tell now that it is covered with rolling hills of lawn, an extensive disc golf course, pavillions, and a small creek that runs through it. There is a walking trail that goes all the way around the park and plenty of large trees that provide shade on those hot summer days.

There is a walking trail that goes all the way around the park and plenty of large trees that provide shade on those hot summer days.
It is a nice, shady park, right by the river and the falls. In the spring you can see beavers and baby geese by the banks. It used to be an old fish hatchery and the city has really reclaimed it in a beautiful way.

This is where we come for unique gift ideas and super yummy treats. The cupcakes are amazing! And we really like sampling their flavored olive oils and vinegars. Go when you have plenty of time to browse, there is so much to see!

This is a great place to walk around, grab a bite to eat, and wander into the unique and quirky shops that line the streets. There is a casual, laid-back vibe here and plenty of time to chat with the owners of these great shops. A little bit of everything!

It is a great place to find the perfect loaf of bread, some local goat cheese, and maybe some local handmade craft. So fun! A weekly summer tradition for our family!

It is a great place to find the perfect loaf of bread, some local goat cheese, and maybe some local handmade craft. So fun! A weekly summer tradition for our family!

At Bear World you drive through acres of land containing bison, elk, deer, and of course, bears. It is a sure-fire way of viewing the wildlife native to this area. There is also a small amusement park that is included in the entrance fee.

We love this climbing gym! They have all the climbing gear you need available to rent, and sooooo many different climbs! There is bouldering walls, and all levels of difficulty. A great place to hang out.

Our kids love this zoo! It is small enough that they don't get tired walking around it, but large enough that there is plenty to see and be interesting. You can watch the zoo staff feed penguins, pet goats in the petting zoo, and see different animals from all around the world. Some of our favorites are the monkeys, red pandas, and otters.

You can watch the zoo staff feed penguins, pet goats in the petting zoo, and see different animals from all around the world. Some of our favorites are the monkeys, red pandas, and otters.
Nothing says summer more than a baseball game! Usually held in the evening here our local baseball team is the Chukkars and they have quite the loyal fan base here. Grab a hot dog, slather it with your favorite topping, and cheer for our team!

The curators are so good at finding exhibits that appeal to all members of our family, adults and children alike. There is also a section devoted to Idaho Falls history and a play area designed around our local outdoor habitat. A great place to go to learn about stuff!
