*A must visit park for this area !* I call this the BEST Mountain view of NorthShore Vancouver. Plus there is a sandy, drift wood beach, green grass park space, historic plaques, outdoor swimming pool, and it connects under tunnel to PNE Playland Theme & Recreation park with access to courts and Hasting Racecourse !

3201 New Brighton Rd*A must visit park for this area !* I call this the BEST Mountain view of NorthShore Vancouver. Plus there is a sandy, drift wood beach, green grass park space, historic plaques, outdoor swimming pool, and it connects under tunnel to PNE Playland Theme & Recreation park with access to courts and Hasting Racecourse !
The Famous City park. Beach area. Totem Poles. Green Space. Sea wall and bike hire for rental. If you have more than 1 day/ or have seen Stanley park on previous visit, I highly recommend to take bus to North Vancouver Lynn Suspension bridge instead!
Or bus #257 Lighthouse Park
You won't regret it !

*Want to see Horses racing ... for free... or win money ? * Races are Saturday, Sundays during day & Friday evenings (summer schedule only). One of the oldest sites of Vancouver. The Vancouver Hastings Raceourse still holds horse races where you can bet on races. Food and drinks and a Casino on site too. It also has the best view of North Shore Mountains from it's stands ! & an attached casino and bar restaurant too with live music venues !
