Hallandale Beach is home to the one of the largest Russian Communities in the US. If you are into checking out a different type of scene, very typical to the area, I am not a fan of their food, but, they have good shows with acrobatics, and different varieties.

Checkout a guide for the Redlands because itcludes many hidden gems such as you pick farms, Schnelby Winery, lots of local agricultural scenery, local tropical fruit for sale on every corner, many animal attractions where you can directly interact with the animals. You will no longer feel in a city.

The closest park/botanical garden/zoo/aviary. Just a cute place to enjoy seeing the local plants with very old trees, local animals and birds. There are peacocks roaming all over, and it is a beautiful place to take pictures and enjoy some fresh air.

If you don't plan on taking a trip down to the Keys I highly recommend checking out one of the 3 parks on the island of Key Biscayne: Virginia Key, Crandon Park and Bill Baggs. They are all very peaceful and serene, nature at it's best without getting out of the city.

If you don't plan on taking a trip down to the Keys I highly recommend checking out one of the 3 parks on the island of Key Biscayne: Virginia Key, Crandon Park and Bill Baggs. They are all very peaceful and serene, nature at it's best without getting out of the city.
